Invasive cookies (even when app not installed)
Forced adverts & intrusive data scrapping made me uninstall this app. Now my Alexa speaker keeps saying Bauer media wants to link my account to my phone to get cookies. I don’t stream from phone at all, radio is purely done through speaker WiFi. Even though I don’t have the app it’s trying to get my data. Bauer media has no right to know what my other devices are doing. Bauer is as bad as Meta, GFYS.

Forced full screen credit card advert on start up
Bauer media, you have ruined the forth 1 app with forced adverts. Is this to ‘encourage’ us to download Rayo?

PASSWORD PROBLEM
I didn’t update my App (or whatever it was I was to do) within the seven days suggested therefore I cannot log in to play on my speakers. Forth One said they will send me another email to enable me to do so. I’m still waiting on it!

Why does the chanel from Rayo disappear from my smart speaker and I’ve got to figure out how to re load it again ?

Force adverts upon start up
Radio content ie dj’s & shows are great, it’s the forced lengthy period of adverts on start up. Ads are necessary but they are always completely unrelated to me, my region etc. it’s forth one. Stop trying to be a uk wide radio station. Bauer media is ruining the experience

Too many adverts on start up
Forced advert(s) on start up. I don’t want an energy source heat pump (in Inverness!!) my house can’t take one. My privacy is set to private yet you keep pumping highlands adverts at me. How!! Your not adhering to your data privacy policy.
It’s a radio app not an advertisement network. Also greatest hits radio set as default unless I give the app my postcode. Why? I downloaded the forth one radio app. Isn’t it obvious. Bauer media are greedy for your data, forced adverts & they are still firing me adverts to my local region even though I haven’t given them my location (which isn’t Edinburgh).

How the heck do you find live shows?! Trying to listen to Boogie in the morning and I’ve just spent an hour listening to yesterdays. Far from intuitive and very annoying.

Fundraises locally pays out nationally the same money it used to pay before it went national. This company is ripping it out of its listeners.

Best radio station in the UK
We love forth one, listen every single day without fail. All the way from Boogie and Arlene through to Garry and then depending on the day, still listening with George on GBX then Callum afterwards. Tunes are class all day

I listen to the station every day via the app and never have any issues but since it was updated a week ago it keeps randomly closing down on both my iPad and iPhone.

This app and Clyde work well but why do we need to see an advert as soon as we open the app, it’s a commercial station so us listeners accept we are going to have to listen to adverts throughout the time we listen, why force even more annoying Adverts when we open the app ??
