Terrible
Explanations are extremely poor. Answers are frequently wrong. When they finally do give an explanation half the time if it’s actually decent it’s almost a page long. The app interface is garbage. The questions stems are terrible as well.
Decent questions, god awful interface
Lots of questions covering a wide variety of physics topics essential for the core exam. However, some of the answers and explanations are straight up wrong.
Worst of all however is the absolutely terrible buggy interface of this app. Every time I scroll down on a longer question the options to hit submit and go to the next question disappears and I have to exit out, reload the question set and hit submit. Every single time.
The creator’s last update indicates he’s been too busy to fix the incorrect topics. For how many people us pay for this app to study for the exam, it is his obligation to hire someone to fix it or find the time.

Not great, but the best we’ve got
The more you use the app, the more you realize it’s riddled with errors, which really degrades your confidence. Several of the questions (out of 500+ total) have no way for you to actually get the answer right. You’ll pick the correct answer, it will be scored as wrong, but the explanation will say that you got it right — and checking with outside trusted references confirms this. Also some of the answer explanations are vague as to which answer was the correct one, the app doesn’t clearly tell you.Formatting in the answer explanations could also be much better, especially when it comes to math formulas. Lots of room for improvement for the developers, if they’re interested in making it better.

Wrong answers
A lot of wrong answers and typos.
Needs simple improvement
I know you guys may not be tech savvy but a couple things would make the app more useful: 1. Highlight the right answer. Sometime the explanation may not be straightforward and doesn’t explicitly say what is the right answer ( especially when the wrong choice is chosen). Remember, this app is directed towards radiology residents trying to pass the boards not physicists. 2. The explanation window that pops up covers questions choices. We need to review and contrast choices against each other after knowing the right answer, and this is not possible when that window covers them. Also, it becomes no longer possible to open the image in the question after answering the question. Thanks!

Glitchy
So glitchy nearly impossible to use wouldn’t buy
Overall good but infrequent small mistakes
Overall good and very helpful for a resident studying for the Core exam, but there are a few errors that distract from the learning process and means that I can't immediately trust the answers explanations. Some of the errors are simple (wrong answer choice is considered correct, typos that result in no actual correct answer present), but present enough that it is distracting.
Also, the answer explanation box obscures the answer choices so it becomes hard to see why you may have chosen an incorrect answer and if you were to go back to a previous question in a block, you can't pull up the explanation again.

Error riddled
Overall a decent app but the amount of mistakes make a confusing topic even harder at times.
Content good. iPad app bad
Very very bad app design for the iPad. Shame because the content is good. If you are going to buy this, use on your phone. I hope you have a big phone.
Okayish app
Need correction to few answers. Two correct options has been given in some of the questions & the explanations for some the answers have mistakes.
Good questions. Full of errors.
Good app for learning, but there are a good amount of errors where the question tells you that you got it wrong, but the explanation indicates that you are correct. This could definitely benefit from some editing.
Needs update
Latest iPhone update 16.4.1 broke the app , answer submit button disappearing amongst other issues.
Fantastic Resource
This was a fantastic resource! The material is excellent with very few mistakes and was highly relevant for material tested in the CORE exam. I highly recommend this app for anyone prepping for CORE. The app generally worked well on mobile and MacOS.
Too many incorrect questions/answers
As stated by other reviews, a non insignificant number of questions/answers/explanations are just wrong, and if you aren’t privy to that, the app is teaching you false information. Moreover, to the learner of physics with a developing understanding of the material, the frequency of incorrect questions/answer just sows doubt and confusion. Save your money and look elsewhere for a core physics review.

Not worth your hard earned resident money
- lots of errors in the app when it comes to questions and answers
- answers are super irritating in that they most of the time don’t give you the answer to the question, rather a figure it out yourself explanation
- app feels like it’s made by someone who made their first app ever. It’s extremely glitchy, answers don’t always show, it jumps between questions and once you click next it doesn’t allow you to go back and see the answer to the prior question. All you see is the question.
- choices included in questions are not explained
With that said, yes some questions are good. But would I pay for this knowing using the app just by its interface is extremely frustrating? Sorry, no. Save your money and buy yourself a meal on nightfloat instead.

A MUST!
While I agree with other reviews that it would be helpful to be able to select questions by modality (MR, CT, US, etc), ability to answer prior questions that were wrongly answered, etc, for $10 Radiology Core Physics app is A STEAL!!! Just Under $10 you are almost guaranteed to pass the physics portion of the core exam and really the entire exam (since that section is usually the one that fails people)!
The questions are written elegantly - the person who wrote it really knows what he/she is talking about, not just thinklesly copying concepts from books and making question out of them! Great job and THANK YOU!
P.S.
I think it’s useful to do these questions before even one starts hard core physics studying, so that one could tune in the brain what to concentrate on. Then do it later again to solidify the material!

Horrible, glitchy app, but good quick Q review for CORE
Questions are quick and to the point making it a nice review on the go. That being said, I’ve never wanted to throw my phone at a wall so many times for how often this app freezes. Also, it doesn’t let you revisit previous question explanations very easily. All that being said, one guy put this app together and that is impression by itself. Hats off to him. Thank you good sir. Solid resource for residents.

Love it
Essential resource. Would be great to sort questions by modality (CT, MR, etc). Please add option to flag questions.
Core review
Stick with the mainstream questions banks. Answer explanations are short and not really helpful. There are a handful of need to know type questions but you will see these in the other q banks. Lots of physics trivia questions that the ABR states per their study guide that will not asked or are not applicable to the practice of radiology or image quality. Images are also very small. Also, there are a handful of right and wrong answers contradictory to what the main review material teaches.

Good.
Many of the questions are straight from QEVLAR.
