Book + App = Great Combo
This App is definitely a very good companion of the book. Although is NOT a SUBSTITUTE of it. I would recommend it to anyone who has read the book first.
It contains helpful videos which complement the theory in the book. Sadly you won't be able to hear the sound of the video clips UNLESS you use HEADPHONES. That is why I give my 4 star review.

Videos sound doesn't work
Sound doesn't work on the videos.
Wonderful Companion to book...
I purchased Rae’s Masterclass book at IMATS New York. It is well written and full of clear visuals. However, this Pocket Companion is the icing on the cake as it allows you to see the concepts in action. The videos function well, but may stick once in a while. I simply pause it, allow it to buffer and it plays smoothly. I love watching her in action within reach of my fingertips. Love it!!! Thanks, Rae!!! xx-Diva

Good Concept, Bad Execution
The video links do not match content. For example, if you click on the mascara tutorial, you will end up viewing the tutorial on how to make your eyes look bigger. Also the streaming of the videos is choppy and unreliable. On the plus side, there is a lot of useful information here, and the interface is easy, so with a few technical weeks this app could well deserve a 5 star rating.
