It’s so accurate and responsive

I love it. It’s like a rare gem within all these apps, but it’s really short. I think you guys have it if you add five more levels.

Thank you, we're very glad you liked it. We didn't want to add new levels unless each was sufficiently unique and interesting, and unfortunately ran out of time before we could meet that goal. Hopefully for a future version.

Could be great

Just loose the gravity. It is already very hard to stay alive with touch controls so having the ship just stop kinda like pixeljunk shooter would be better. (After reading some reviews i switched to easy mode) Easy mode should be default starting mode. I was able to get MUCH further and enjoy the game. Maybe reduce acceleration if you are accelerating towards a wall.

Old School fun!

Love it. Simple, decent controls, tidy graphics - takes me back to “Gravitar” for anyone who remembers that little gem from coin-slot days. Seems genuinely free… no ads or up-sells at all (yet anyway) so a big thanks to the devs for a neat little old-school shooter.

Tough game add arcade mode

Would like a mode where the weapons are permanent and you have shops to use crystals.

This game is legit fun

Especially with a controller. Dirty progresses nice. Hard to master the controls initially but satisfying when you do. Hope to see it continue to develop

How to play?

How do I fly ? No instructions. Contact doesn't work too due to construct sheet. Huh?

Controls need work

Game looks really good and the music is pretty great, but the finicky controls sap away too much of the fun.

Worst controls I’ve ever used in any video game in the last 25 years

Just absolutely _awful_ controls. Feels like hydroplaning on a frozen highway. Uninstalled after thirty seconds. Glad I got this for free or I’d be looking for a refund.

Nice game, difficult

The motion of the ship feels nice and easy to control. It took me a while to figure out how to shoot but now that I know how, I like the way tyat is implemented too.

Good

This is very good but you need to add a leaderboard to give people some incentive to keep playing

ONE level?

This game is like very good. By the time I was able to finally beat the level on easy mode, i was very excited for the next level...but is there seriously only one level? well i'm on medium mode now and i've gotten a lot better. Game is pretty unique, at least to me... It's a very awesome twist on the galaga shooter types. its almost like a spaceship in a metroidvania, but unlike a metroidvania it also NEEDS a better and LONGER story and MORE STAGES and more enemies and boss battles. Make it Happen! I will pay more for more stages! or a Raider 2 that costs a lot more. You got good thing going here.

Thanks for the review! The level is created differently each time, so I hope you are getting some good replayability. More content is in the pipeline, including a longer story !

This game is tough.

I know it told me it would be but I do one or two runs in 5 minutes and close the game. I like the idea of this game but I can't pass the first level. So I don't even know if it'll get better with upgrades or what. I'm guessing there are no permanent upgrades as I don't get the crystals I collect after death. I'll keep it downloaded to see what comes but this is above my skill level.

Thank you for the review and feedback! In the next version, which should be released within the next few days, the 'easy' setting will make the game significantly easier than at present (i.e. for versions 1.4.14 and earlier).

Fantastic game

Thank you for the review! There’s more content in the pipeline. Some of it is at the design stage, so it’s weeks or months away rather than days.

Great Game that shines on iPad

Awesome game! The touch movement took some getting used to but it feels great after practice and turning the sensitivity way down. The only issue is that if you have a free life, the game crashes when trying to start your next life. Happened to someone else as well. My devices are iPad mini 6 and iPhone 11 Pro Max, both running iOS 17.1.1

Hopefully that bug can be fixed. Best of luck with your release!

Thank you for your review! Thank you also for catching the bug, which was introduced by a last minute change before release (always risky!). It’s been fixed in version 1.4.9, available on the App Store now. Thank you as well for the feedback on control sensitivity. The default sensitivity will be reduced by a notch in the next patch.
