App
The app could be better, could show signals, access points. Not up to date, I am currently working in Huddersfield and the app show more lines at site then there is. When taking pictures, I have to take a few time to get the information required, i.e, miles and chains as they do not always appear on the picture.

No.1 Rail App
A must for any railway worker
COSS
Great app
Always out
Been using this app since track locator went don’t now I pay £5 a month for it not even to be precise
10/10
EST railway app
Very handy
A good app. The report side comes in handy but could use an update to allow a draft to save will writing a report and the option to go back a step to ad additional photos without loosing your report.
Need offline maps please
There are many areas of the railway that don’t have mobile signal and so an offline option would make this a 5 star app for me. You can still have GPS without mobile signal and so could still find your location (miles and chains) in an emergency. Even if you just have the option of downloading local maps to your device before going out onto the railway.

Loving the App
Best App on the railway
Rail
Great app and just keeps getting better, this is now better than the original Track locator.
Need to link with W3W
One thing I think would make this app better is if tapping on the What3Words (W3W) displayed took you directly to the W3W app rather than having to type it in manually.
If having a link is not a possibility then at least allow the copy function so it could be pasted into W3W.
Just a thought.

Outstanding
Great app
Top Job
When accessing or on track this app is helpful to assist me. Luckily it works on IOS
Not quite good enough
I need miles, chains and yards.
It would be extremely useful to show position in meters as well.
The cost is the biggest problem.
I don’t mind paying a one off cost £20-£30 maybe but a subscription of minimum £5 a month is just not worth it.
All I want to know is where I am and what way I’m facing so I can find a mile post to chain out a site.

Very helpful
As A Coss, this app is a must.
Great, but…
This is a long awaited app since track locator disappeared. Love that you can search ELRs and mileages. What 3 words integrated. Place pins to see mileages.
Only 3 things I find frustrating. You can only see chainage or yardage, so accuracy is only with in 20 meters.
When using the search function you have to know the which line is physically there eg: up/down/single, or the search does work at all.
When trying to take a picture you have to make a report. Personally I would rather a picture with the mileage on it saved to my camera roll.
Other then those brilliant app, hasn’t just replaced track locator but has made a much better app
Thank you

Unable to login since updated
I have been logged out and it doesn’t let me log back in it just asks for an email then says create a new account without giving an option to log in. Then after adding details it says this account already exists. It’s quite frustrating please help
