Map Problems

The map is covered in black rectangles almost obliterating the detail.

The issue has been pinpointed to an issue with some older device's GPUs. We have added a mode to optionally disable the GPU where it is causing issues, and also to reduce the map detail and optionally reduce the train updates, so that the app is still usable without a GPU. Upgrade to at least version 2.0.13 to get these new settings. We will continue to work on support for older GPUs.

Transformed App!

Updated my review as the app has been significantly updated and works really well for me. Pro users may want more but for occasional hobby type use it is great.

Hopefully in future it will also track heritage type trains like steam trains and enable you to see where they are operating, now that would be a game changer!

A question

So when I am not using any wifi but I use my 4G it doesn’t show the trains, can you maybe check to see if you can fix it and being able to see trains without my Wi-Fi?

The issue was debugged with the user and was caused by an incompatibility with the VPN software they also had on their phone.

Zoom still buggy

Update list in AppStore shows bug with zoom taking you through a portal to some random location fixed. Still occurs on the latest version.

We have completely rewritten our App so we invite you to update to the latest version and see what you think. The maps are now vector maps, so much smoother to zoom in and out, with loads of other bug fixes.

Malheureusement, l'application ne permet de suivre les trains qu'au Royaume-Uni. Nous envisageons peut-être à l'avenir de la étendre au suivi des trains en Europe.

Great app, but still more changes

What a great app now it looks better and good thing this app is coming back up again. I would like to see more changes like when you zoom out then it just flings you down to England or another area, that’s need to be changed and also some minor things too so for freight trains and other trains that you can’t see should be easily accessible. Great work!!

Such a great idea but incredibly buggy! Last updated 4 years ago so I doubt developer will bother making any improvements, such a shame.

Absolute rubbish. Impossible to use. Randomly jumps when zooming in and unable to follow anything. Uninstalled immediately.

Good concept horrible play out

I’ll say this this app had my expectations up high and made them come crashing down it says to centre your map in your location so I zoom to the part of Scotland I live in and it pulls me back to London . Not worth your time

Great idea but the map will jump went your zooming in to find a train so that need fixing immediately.

Obviously not supported anymore

Like many other recent reviewers I find it just won’t display train locations in real time. It’s therefore useless.

No longer works

Despite being advertised as “new” (2024-01-04) on their website this is 4 year’s old, bug ridden, map does not work, I’m stood on the platform with the actual train stationary in front of me but this shows the train some miles from arriving. (When the train does appear zooming out ) It shows phantom trains, trains arriving on wrong platforms etc. if you need a reliable travel companion this is not the app to use!

No map

Use to be able to view map, but for over a year it’s just a white screen with the openstreetmap logo showing at bottom right. Using on iPhone with latest iOS. So no good for tracking trains visually
