Great, but hoping for new source
This will NOT show you the current location of trains. That’s not the point. The goal here is to show location of tracks, infrastructure, signaling, etc. I am hoping they will eventually switch the OpenRailwayMap.App for the source material as that is more current and has a Time Machine feature that allows you to see how tracks have been added and removed over past decades.

Nice little App with room for some improvements

My Name is Thomas.
I am mobile service technician for Rail Vehicles.
In my Job I travel around europe to maintain Traincontrol and Train Radio Systems on all Kind of Vehicles. In some places I am Not sure which Type of overhead Line there is. It would really help me if your App would be able to show me that. Open Railway Maps has this Data. Another thing that I would Like to see in the future is a Location Based Map View that automaticly triggers if I open the Map.

Thanks for your review and suggestions. I’ll definitely consider them once I find the time to upgrade the app.
Useless
This app does nothing more than show where railways are located—not when there’s an actual train.

The app is working exactly as described - it shows railway infrastructure (tracks, signals, speed limits), not live train locations. Real-time train tracking isn’t mentioned anywhere in the app description or features. If you were expecting live train positions, that’s simply outside the scope of this app. Railway Map is intended for exploring rail networks, not monitoring train movement.
