The app gives an accurate picture of what storms are about to hit our area. I like the colours indicating the severity of rainfall.

I’ve used this excellent app for years and find its clean clear display and UI the best of the BOM-data based radar apps. Late in 2025 it suddenly gave an error message for ALL radars - I believe BOM had changed their data format per comments elsewhere. I'm pleased to say the developer subsequently updated it and the app is back to to its normal perfect operation.
My only minor annoyance is that the feedback/contact links both in the store and in the message about it being updated go to an ad rather than anywhere near Verve, so reviews seem to be the only way of contacting the developer.

A fix has now been released. Apologies for the delay & any inconvenience this has caused, noting that this is a free app maintained in my spare time, and breaking changes at the BOM are totally outside of my control. It would be much appreciated if you could update your rating & review based on the new version.

Rain radar great - porn advertising at the bottom is revolting.
Very disappointed seeing vile advertising at the bottom of the radar that I can’t remove.

Nice for Tasmania
For some reason, the app I use in the United States did not work in Tasmania as far as radar goes. This radar seems very accurate and I love that it has wind as well. However, I don’t know that there is a forecast, or I haven’t figured it out with the app, but it gives the current status which is nice for planning, vacation, etc..
