User reviews

when will it update?

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!🤬

My kid liked it

It's easy to start forming words, the word-making followed by a story kept son engaged. I think this program made him "click" how letter, sounds, words and stories are linked.

Good and bad

Good parts:

-Drawings are colorful and cute.
-It is engaging, kids like to play it.
-The books that follow are short and sweet, make a child feel successful.
-The music is catchy.
-If the student makes a mistake, there's no annoying buzzer.
-It gives hints.
-Narrator has a nice voice.

Needs improvement:

-The font is quasi-cursive, not appropriate for a beginning reader, for example "ear" is hooked together.
-There are a limited amount of stories, so this app couldn't be used for very long.
-It isn't as comprehensive on all the phonics sounds as I wish it was.
