iOS 17, been working great since iOS 13. I don’t understand all the negative feedback. App and bulb works perfectly

Worked fine until iOS 14.3
This app worked well until iOS 14.3. Now my expensive color changing lightbulbs are now white bulbs I have to turn off manually. What’s the point of owning an long life LED bulb that doesn’t get an update for over 3 years, thereby rendered useless.
iOS 14.2 issue
Like others, the app kept crashing whenever I upgraded to iOS 14.2. I had to delete app and reinstall to get it to work correctly. Not the end Of the world and definitely a first world problem; but would’ve been nice to not have to reassign all names and groups (I have about 15 of these in the house).

Since I updated to IOS 14.2 the app won’t stay open! I can’t use the light anymore please fix this issue 🥺
Not worth the headache
When this app does work it works good, but it doesn't work all the time
1. the light bulb color and brightness cannot be adjusted without this app and on a daily basis some bulbs on the app will read disconnected even though it's on therefore rendering the bulb totally useless for its advertised purpose, the adjust of color and brightness,,,, therefore this renders its functionality to that of an ordinary light bulb that just happens to be economical,,,
2. Customers, being me, demand reliability in advertised function therefore i cannot recommend this product based on the flawed function of the whole product based on the application flaws,,,the app and the bulb go hand in hand
3. i chose these bulbs not only for lum/kelvin ratings but also for the smart control functions because I have macaws and I thought this would a great way for me to take better care of their light needs however if i cannot control the bulb the bulb becomes useless for this,,,,
therefore if iluv can go back and correct what they should have done right the first time, writing a reliable control smart app i'd say heck yea worth the investment but that isn't the case so don't waste your time or money

Needs help
I love this app. It does what it says it does and provides a valuable service. Two things I would like to see:
Sometimes, I get a “not connected” error when I want to use a device other than the last device used to open the app.
I would like to see an enhancement of the scheduling possibilities. I want the option to schedule multiple settings. For example, if I could schedule on, dim and off or enter more than one on/off cycle in the same 24-hour period, that would be awesome.

a party setting would be great
I love these but unlike even the simplest color changing bulbs they don’t have a party mode where they would cycle thru various colors on their own. There is so much unexplored potential here and I continue to wait for the day that they update the app and this whole program really shines. But otherwise they 100% meet the basic criteria and the colors are amazing!

Right now you have to change colors manually, I am looking to program automatically change colors and schedule it.
HomeKit!!!
These lights are great, but the need HomeKit. I would like to be able to say "Hey Siri turn on my lights" on my Apple Watch they would turn on, instead of me having to go hunt for my phone and use the app to turn it on.

This would be awesome if there was a setting where the light gradually cycled through the colors instead of manually changing.
Failed!
New version does not allow you to have multiple devices liked to bulbs. For example: if you want to have your iPhone and tablet liked to the bulbs, it will only allow you to link one or the other but not both devices and this goes also for trying to link to iPhones to the same bulb in case you have more than one person trying g to use the app.

Perfect!
This is the perfect solution when a plain white bulb just isn't right. Needed to add color light to a specific corner of the room and this was a perfect solution to the issue.
