Nothing for free

I downloaded this app based on a instagram recommendation but there is no free tier. At all. The trial is seven days. Do I want to pay five bucks a month to know if it rained at my location? Maybe for some people it is useful. Not for me.

Free version has become worthless

This was a pretty good app until recently. It has made it so I can’t add a location or change a previous one. I use to be able to have two locations now I only have one. I can’t see the rain amounts for the entire month. I can still get some info but it’s not for the location I want.

Nope

If I had zero stars to give this I would. It is information you can get from your local Weather app on Apple. It is utter utter utter garbage.

Can’t subscribe

Most recent update may have broken our ability to subscribe? Looks great otherwise, but this isn’t a great start

So far so good

Not working?

Just paid for the app, and A) beneath my city and state location (correct), it says someplace in Canada and it shows a map of somewhere in Canada, also, not my city and U.S. state?! Plus it says we’ve had no rain in the last 24 hours when we did get almost 1-1/4” yesterday.
Something is way wrong here. I want my money back.

Rain gauge

It's not very accurate

Not Accurate

When looking at the temperature forecasts in my area it displays 115 degrees for one day. Apparently, this app doesn't show a forecast, but an all time high for that day. Very misleading.

Great app

I’m with a nonprofit that plants trees in Lexington. This is great for watering season.

Nice rain app, does not calculate the feels like temperature correctly

I like the app & the specificity of rain totals at my location. However, the app does not calculate the feels like temperature correctly. I use the temperature & humidity displayed for my location & use an online Heat Index calculator to obtain the feels like temperature. It is very different from Rain Drop calculations. It does, however, correspond accurately to the Heat Index displayed by the National Weather Service for my area. I hope that Rain Drop will fix this issue as I need accurate Heat Indexes for working outside & horse training.

Missed bad last night

App is trying to say we had over 1/2” but the huge says only a few hundredths. Another site that received a light rain didn’t have anything reported in app

Used to be a great app

The app just required an update.
Now it requires payment to check one remote location which is why I dropped my 5 star rating to 2 star.
Too bad.

Rain totals

These are not accurate to where you are necessarily

Privacy

Why does this app need to track my purchases?
It seemed promising until I saw that.

Features lost from $30/mth plan

I paid $30/mth (the most I’ve ever paid for an app) and half way thru the year’s sub, you can’t see and compare rainfall per year in the simple Month to Month graph. That got moved to a higher sub. So, if you buy a sub and like a feature, expect that to vanish. Not a good look.

False Advertising

The app tricks you into downloading then doesn’t allow very many features unless you pay a excessive amount of money for a monthly subscription. Way better free apps out there.

Do not download this app

Absolute garbage app. Highly inaccurate. Its goes from today you will have .005” of rain to 1.19” 5 minutes later. What an absolute joke. Apple you need to take this app down. Its false and misleading

Inaccurate

So inaccurate as to be useless

Cool app

But y’all got some work to do.

Free trial

I’d like to try this out for a month to see how accurate it is.
But there’s no free trial. Something is a little fishy.
