##### Highlighted Changes * Introducing Rainy Skies Gold! Gold includes faster weather, air quality, and pollen updates along with new weather sources, favorite-location forecasts, expanded History features, and background Trip Planner updates. * Gold members can now use NOAA / National Weather Service forecasts in the United States. AirNow.gov is now the default air quality source for U.S. locations, with Google available as an alternative. * History now includes "Today in History" comparisons and a "Time Machine" for viewing any completed month back to January 2021. (Gold subscription required) * "Trip Planner" - plan single or multi-destination trips, see live forecasts and historical climate data for each stop, and get notified when a trip forecast becomes available or changes significantly. * "Favorite Locations" - mark your most important saved locations as favorites. Gold members can see current conditions and a seven-day forecast for each one right from the Locations screen. * Updated for OS 27 with a refreshed app icon and new extra-large portrait widgets on iPhone. ##### New Features * App: Updated the minimum version to 27.0. * App (AI): Expanded "Ask Rainy Skies" with better current, forecast, and historical weather tools, more concise multi-day answers, and improved recovery from model errors. * App (Daily): Added a customizable summary above the daily forecast with the dominant condition, precipitation, UV Index, wind, wind gusts, and feels-like temperature when relevant. * App (Daily): Added new daily forecast views for precipitation amount, UV Index, wind, Air Quality Index, and pollen. * App (Detail): Hourly and Daily forecasts now share a detail screen with selectable charts and data points. * App (iPad + Mac): Saved locations can now open in independent, restorable weather windows. * App (iPad + Mac): Added keyboard shortcuts for switching between Weather, Radar, History, Ask Rainy Skies, and Trip Planner. * App (Settings): Added a setting to use Feels Like as the primary temperature throughout the app, widgets, and Apple Watch. * App (Settings): Added guidance for improving notification freshness by using a widget or Always Location access. * App (Settings): Updated the default accent color to be based on the app icon. * App (Settings-Notifications): Today and Tomorrow Daily Summaries now share content, sound, and badge settings while keeping separate schedules and forecast time periods. * App (UI): Added a Settings button to the main screens when the sidebar isn't available. * Notifications: Daily Summaries can now include precipitation timing and feels-like temperature when it differs enough from the actual temperature. * Widgets: Added extra-large portrait versions of the Forecast and Hourly + Daily Chart widgets. ##### Bug Fixes * App: Fixed weather refreshes sometimes returning stale data after changing locations or overlapping requests, and added clearer loading, cached-weather, failure, and retry states. * App (Charts): Fixed selecting Air Quality Index values and corrected annotation colors on Location Info charts. * App (Location): Fixed weather sometimes remaining stuck while finding the current location when it matched a cached location. * App (Radar): Added an error message when radar data can't be loaded. * Notifications: Fixed precipitation notifications being sent repeatedly for the same precipitation event. * Watch: Fixed missing Air Quality configuration.
