The Reason atop Few Subscribers
The reason you have too few subscribers for you to update it as you mentioned, it’s because of price. Don’t look at the other developers. We stay away from them. If you had price it right like the other apps you have, more people would buy and your revenue would be higher. I’ve always looked to see if you changed the price but never did and never added any new scenes to encourage people. That’s why people stay away. You have had lots of fans when you were reasonable with your price.

Excellent, BUT: Won’t Work On Smart Speakers?
6 years back when I had to do a bunch of air travel, I searched high and low for beautiful, reliable nature noises apps to help me sleep. After I found Rainy and the rest of the series, I was won over and my ears have never looked back.
All this comes to a sad BUT: I recently upgraded the apartment to both a HomePod mini, and a Sonos smart speaker expressly for the bedroom nature noises (moved on from air travel to living in Brooklyn). Rainy and the rest of the apps don’t work.
Music, YouTube, voice calls, all come out the smart speakers. But all I get from these beautiful, long-loved nature apps are sharp, grating sounds from my 12Pro Max’s tinny loudspeaker.
No Sonos. No HomePod mini.
Which all comes to a hopeful BUT: I’m really hoping this is a leftover from when these apps were first developed, and smart speakers were less ubiquitous. Hoping Franz and his team read the user reviews and either lemme know what I’m missing or patch the incompatibility.
My man-made noise defying sleep depends on it.

A time ago I cancelled my subscription to one of your apps, only because I was almost bankrupt, due to COVID-19, and had to cut all cost that weren’t essential. Your apps have changed my life, truly. I’ve been using them for many years now. They are truly the best for deep relaxation and meditation. No one compares, honestly. I have a steady job now, and want to help again. Please tell me the best way I can? Please, please know that there must be thousands of people out there just like me, who’s life have been dramatically enhanced or changed entirely, by your beautiful apps. I’m NOT joking. You have changed the world, and that’s a fact. I’m so sorry I had to stop supporting you. I have a job again, but keep in mind I move lumber with a forklift for a living, so my pockets aren’t very deep.😉

I’ve been listening to rain sounds for years to relax and sleep, so I’ve heard more than my fair share of recordings.
That’s why I was completely stunned when I heard the incredible sound quality in Rainy (and, indeed the other related apps in the series). It really is miles ahead of any other rain recordings or apps out there.
The sound is so crisp, clear and immersive that, even with the average quality provided by my sleep headphones, it feels like truly being under a rainy sky.
I also have Flowing, and have discovered that you can use both (and maybe more?) apps at once for extra customisation. On top of that, I can put on a podcast with a sleep timer so I have all three sound sources at once. I’ve never had such blissful sleep before, honestly.
This is worth every penny, and the effort that’s been put into achieving such high quality sounds is clear in seconds. It would be well worth buying even if it was a plain screen with basic controls, but the lovely design adds a nice, whimsical touch that really finishes it off.
Would give an extra star if I could.

This collection of sound apps is A++
PRO TIP: The way this app’s audio works on iPhone you can still play music/podcasts in the background at the same time! I’ve not found any other apps that offer this, a killer feature if you use it to sleep/relax.
Honestly the best set of white noise apps out there - I started listening with Thunderscape, which has been my go-to for a long number of years. I discovered the other apps and they really do beat the competition hands down in sound quality. Helps me drift off every night.. there’s a big focus in the apps on the special parallax effects on the scenes, but I have never really paid attention to that as it’s primarily delivering an audio experience - I’d say time and money would be better spent focusing on audio first and foremost.

Do not support a bad developer that can’t take criticism
My long standing review of this app has been deleted. In what I can only assume is out of spite because of my negative review of it.
I have purchased many of the other apps from this dev. All reasonably priced as a one time purchase. This one still has some lame high insane one time cost and or subscription service built in. The app saw no updates for over a year. Almost two. The app only finally got updated after it stopped working. My original Review is the same. Great sleep sounds. Really good quality and worth a fair premium. Not worth paying a monthly fee or the huge fee hidden in this one.
My original review has stood on this app for over two years. Very disappointed to see it removed after this sudden recent update after the app being a graveyard for so long.

look don't get me wrong it's a great app cool art and rain sounds but like just make it free or a one time payment because this app is only able to be used if U have a job like I'm in school so how am I ment to pay for a subscription but besides that great app
