Not worth it

We were forced to switch over to this fundraising app from our previous online shopping app, which was amazing. We would raise couple thousand dollars a year just by our daily shopping for our team. Looking at this app it charges you 3.5% to use your credit card at checkout when you only get 1 to 2% cashback… It’s not worth it. You’re paying more in credit card fees than you’re even getting in cash back and I’m not gonna link my bank account to any online shopping store so it’s not worth the time or the money as you don’t get that much in cash back once all fees are taken out.

Almost Perfect

Please add drop down menu on app that allows user to switch the organization that they are earning for. This is only available on the website and is inconvenient when trying to make a purchase

Casey’s gift is a bust!

The reloaded gift cards no longer update the balance and you can’t track it either on the Casey’s website…so frustrating!

app hasn’t worked for me for months

Good but….

It is a decent app but should make it easier to find local products. I’ve sent a request and basically responded that they don’t have it. They’ve updated the app since then and still don’t have a local product button.

Slow App

Just made a $500 app purchase, received a confirmation email saying my e-gift cards are ready to be used however 30 minutes later they will still not load on the app. There is nothing better than sitting here in a store wanting to check out by you can’t because all your money is on a gift card you can’t access!

You lose money at the same time

Doesn’t really make that much sense,
you’re raising money, sure. But the app also charges you EVERY time you make a purchase. & most of the money you receive from purchasing (which is mostly minimal), you paid into it from being charged to use your card.

My church isn’t 501C

I’m actually new to RaiseRight and I already linked my bank account only to receive a mail requesting for additional information… this is actually going too far and my church isn’t 501C so what’s my chance of been approved

2 factor auth

I can’t log in without a cell phone #? Why can’t I use email for 2FA? Or get a call on a landline? I’m don’t like that a cell phone # is the only option, I’m simply not using my cell for this.

It’s so handy

I send Gift cards to a lot of people, I don’t have to make a special trip to the store to get them. I can just select and swipe.

Works sometimes

Just a crappy app, shocked it has all these positive reviews

Convenient

What a great way to help with money you are going to spend anyways! All cards in one place!

How does this have so many stars

I don’t understand how this app or organization has so many stars? It is such a con. They charge you a 3% fee to buy the gift card with your credit card. So anything at or under 3% incentive you are actually losing money. You just as well cut the middle man and write your school a check! Yes there is a direct bank link for a lower fee but with all the hackers and security breaches these days do you really want an online organization tied directly to your bank account? Not me. At least with a stolen credit card I have fraud protection.

Quick example I went to buy a gift card for Walmart since we buy all of our groceries there. Incentive is 2.5%. On the $500 gift card I was going to purchase my kids school would earn $12.50 but I end up paying a $15 credit card fee to make the purchase. I just as well give the school $15! Yes some things are a higher percentage, and they sometimes offer bonuses for much higher percentages, but everything I purchase regularly including food and fuel are below the credit card fee percentage. Very disappointing. If you give it a try buyer beware… make sure you take off the processing fee when you are considering how much your fundraiser will receive. It’s not what you think.

Face ID never works

If I can get in the program is pretty good, but the app always fails to recognize me without typing in password. Sad.

So easy!

I love how easy it is to use and that I’m helping my school!!

Bugged

Set up account. Added bank. Now won’t sign in from facial recognition or user name and password. It works on website not app.

Thumbs up

Raise right is great but the convenience fees are silly

Poor App, Great Product

Raise Right makes fundraising easy but needs to improve their App unless making money off those wanting to do good for others is their primary goal. Linking bank accounts in the App to avoid hefty fees only works if you’ll share your login information for all your bank accounts at the bank you want to use to RaiseRight and Plaid, and after considering that option, the App forces you to link with Plaid and won’t allow you to link accounts the old fashioned way forcing me to pay a RaiseRight fee higher than the share to the school I’m supporting so it’s better to simply donate to the school directly.

Easy

It’s incredibly easy to load these cards into my wallet and just pay with it when I check out. It’s simpler than getting my credit card from my jam packed wallet, that’s for sure. It gets us tuition credit and helps our school!
