My app stopped working a few weeks ago. Just keeps saying searching for systems over and over
Rubbish app
Not sure if it’s Rako itself or the app but we’ve spent thousands on this system and it would have been cheaper and more user friendly to just stick with hive bulbs.
Since yesterday my hub won’t connect with Alexa and that’s the only way we can get our heads around the ridiculous set up. Not impressed

Rubbish
App now doesn’t work on iPhone or iPad. What is the point of installing a “smart” lighting system if the associated app doesn’t work. I’d steer clear of their systems until they get the app sorted or you’ll just be wasting your money.

I had a power cut hours ago and can’t get my lounge lights on. I had the same yesterday.

Terrible upgrade
Rako removed the opportunity to add photos to the app meaning if you didn’t name everything perfectly (something the user can’t change) then it’s a nightmare searching.

New App - Fail
Came home from holiday to find new app 4.0.1 which looks clumsy on an iPhone, custom photo icons disappeared, buttons too big and now need to scroll. This version isn’t progress.
What did you do?
Did someone let their six year old loose on the app? What used to be a clear, well laid out interface is now a complete mess. I have also lost all of my photos attached to the rooms. On my iPad mini the channel interface, in particular, is terrible. Almost overlapping. How did this get through testing?

Why have you changed the look?
I’ve been using the Rako app for years now, and loved it. It was always lighting quick and simple to use, with a familiar look due to the custom images for each room icon.
To my dismay, I opened the app just now to use it and find that the style of the app has completely changed and looks terrible now by comparison.
The app feels cheap and nasty to navigate and tomorrow I’m calling my Control4 dealer to get a quote on replacing the lot. I was already speaking to them about renewing the Rako keypads for newer versions, but after this I want it all gone. Rako have had the last of my money, and it’s a shame because their products have never let me down and I’ve recommended them to many.

More modern looks, but some use-ability lost
Love my Rako gear and new App looks much fresher, but I wish the boxes could be made smaller. I have my whole house on it, and now I have to keep swiping up and down to see all the rooms. Couldn’t we have a choice of icon box sizes?
Stopped working here too
Was working fine, don’t use it too often but when I went to turn on holiday mode it’s just constantly saying looking for system. Not good

Simply stopped working after the latest update 3mo ago..
Diagnostics find the bridge, but when trying to use the app just get a pop up saying the app is not connected to the network..
It’s the second time an update breaks this app.

App stopped working
The app stopped working, lights are fine but it just keeps cycling on “looking for systems”. I’ve restarted and updated everything, still not working. Very fragile app.
Rako App had stopped working
Rako fixed my system for me. (thanks Ben) A very quick response.
I had installed a Mesh wifi. And that was causing the problem (now fixed). Great customer service.

Latest release has broken bridge discovery again
With the latest release (3.6.8) bridge discovery is now not working again (iPhone 11).
Introducing this bug once is not great, but twice?

Update has stopped it working
It was brilliant until the latest update. Now it can’t connect to the bridge. Very frustrating. So it still is not connecting to the bridge. Very very poor
New update
Since the 23rd June update the app can no longer discover my hub on 12” iPad Pro.
It was a pretty crap app in the first place but this takes the biscuit!
