Not Happy
I Loved this game and played it everyday. Then about 6+ months ago. I signed into the game, and EVERYTHING was gone. By cards, level, and everything in between, and yes that includes money spent. I emailed the company asking for help to restore my account, and never heard back. I don’t know why my account was wiped, or why I didn’t get help restoring it. So, if you want to take the chance and lose money on a game that you sign into, and find all your hard work gone. Go for it

Great game
It’s fantastic, but WE NEED MORE CARDS
Dear future Card Defender…
I am Crxzy. Long time player of RNG based games like this and Random Dice. Before you download this, you should know a few things.
1. Bots
This game uses many bots as opponents instead of real players. You do occasionally get a real player to play against. However, in my experience 75% of the games i have played have been with or against bots. This makes sense as the game may not have a strong playerbase and must be bloated in order to actually let players play the game. The problem here is that the bots use more or less the same deck. Making gameplay very easy and repetitive.
FOR DEVS: Some improvements i would suggest to this system, if you must keep bots in the game: first make the decks variety. Dont have 3 or 4 set decks they always use. Second, make the game prioritize real players over bots. If a real human is available to match with, then match both humans together. If a human is not available in a specific amount of time (30 seconds as example) then start the match with a bot.
2. This game is a copy of Random Dice.
It plays the exact same way, however it has something Random Dice does not. Heroes. These heroes will get an ability that can aid in gameplay such as, upgrading towers, stopping enemies, giving money, clearing the battlefield, etc. these heroes however are not unique to the game. If you play Random Dice you may notice similarities between some heroes and some dice.
3. There is a clearly defined meta.
In my opinion the Meta is the Heart, Starving Eagle, and Chariot cards with the Heart Queen hero. The reason i think this is the hard defined meta is because of the existence of the heart queen, and the nit so randomness of Balans upgrade Abilities. Balan will have a high chance of upgrading the bottom corners of your board. Which coincidentally happen to be where the Chariot resides when giving the Critical Chance buff. The bots i spoke about before have decks that will usually support the heart chariot meta.
4. No Developer Intervention.
I have not had to update this game at all since i first downloaded it. The gameplay does not change as you climb in trophies. The game as it was a year ago is the exact same as it is now. By all definitions of the word. The game is dead.
I have been playing this game for a few years at this point. I don't play often because the gameplay is stale and in serious need of an update. I don't mind that its a Random Dice clone. It takes RD and spins the concept into its own thing. Giving players a nice change from the harsh gameplay RD may have.
If you enjoy manipulating RNG in a chill and relaxing way then this is a good game. Its fun to play on the toilet.
Now this part is for the development team behind the game.
First, i want to say that this game has potential. If the game was updated regularly and didn't feel like a useless cash grab, i wouldn't be so harsh on it. I have some notes i want to put out there to make the game better.
- The bots are ridiculous. Tone it down a bit.
- Add new cards and heroes, unique cards. You can still rip them from other games but get creative.
- You could even rip the battlefields from RD and add those.
- I would also suggest increasing your budget for marketing. If you dont want the bots being the main playerbase you need real people to play. Market to those people so you can dissolve the overwhelming number of bots.
- Balance changes are needed to alot of the cards so the meta isnt just 1 deck. The cards need to be balanced so multiple metas can exist to counter each other.
- If you care about the game, update it. If money is what you want, then update it. Keeping your game upto date in not only features but the overall style and theme goes a long way into securing a loyal playerbase. Loyal players mean consistent money. Caring about the state of your game will make you profit.
How much do you actually make from this. Im betting its not much. Imagine you have 5,000 concurrent players online at any given point. Now imagine that 5% of that 5k buys the season pass every season. That alone probably increases your profit margin by 100%. Obviously i don't know the numbers but i can take an estimated guess based on my experience and the stats of the game.
I will be uninstalling this game because it is simply just boring. It feels like it was made by a Random Dice fan who only used the Gear Dice and wanted it to be useful. So he created a game exactly like RD and made the heart OP so he could feel good about himself.
This has been Crxzy, with the definitive review for the game.
Should you play it?
Yes, you should at least try it. Do not buy anything you see until the developers update and maintain the game.
