About
Random Tab Reloader refreshes Safari tabs for you at random times within a range you choose. Keep a status page, dashboard, queue or live results up to date without reaching for the reload button.
TWO WAYS TO USE IT
• This tab only: open the extension on any page and switch it on. Only that tab reloads. Turn it on in as many tabs as you like; each one stays on while you browse in it, until you close the tab or quit Safari.
• All tabs: every open tab gets its own independent timer, including tabs you open later.
A RANDOM RHYTHM
Set a minimum and a maximum, anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours. Each tab waits its own random time within that range before it reloads, then picks a new one, so your tabs don't all refresh at once.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No access to the websites you visit. Random Tab Reloader can't read or change any page, and Safari never asks you to let it.
• No data collected. No account, no tracking, no ads.
IN SAFARI ON MAC, IPHONE AND IPAD
The same extension, with the same two modes, everywhere you use Safari.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Reloading a page clears anything unsaved on it, such as a half-written message or form. Use This tab only for pages you're just watching.
• Safari may delay reloads while your Mac is asleep or busy. On iPhone and iPad, reloads pause while Safari is in the background.
• In This tab only, the tabs you switched on reset when you quit Safari. All tabs, your interval and your choice of mode are remembered.
GETTING STARTED
Mac: in Safari, choose Safari › Settings › Extensions and turn on Random Tab Reloader. Then click its button in the toolbar.
iPhone and iPad: in Safari, open the page menu (iPhone) or the extensions button in the address bar (iPad), choose Manage Extensions and turn on Random Tab Reloader. Then open it from the same menu.
