Rank Up is a chess-inspired puzzle game built around one twist: your piece evolves as it captures. Take down a stronger enemy and your piece grows. Plan the order of captures, not just the path. The Daily Puzzle is the same for every player in the world — same board, same enemies, same solution space. Solve it. Share your stars and move count. Build a streak. See if you can beat par. GAME MODES • Daily Puzzle — A new puzzle every day, generated deterministically so every player gets the same challenge. Monday is gentle, Sunday is brutal. • Normal — 30+ levels of escalating difficulty with new mechanics introduced gradually: holes, teleport portals, fragile cells. • Survival — 5 hearts, infinite levels. Undo costs 1, retry costs 2, no hints. Push your record — finishing above your best level costs a heart. EVOLUTION SYSTEM Each piece has a power level. Capture an enemy stronger than yourself and you evolve — Pawn → Knight → Bishop → Rook → Queen. The order of captures matters: take a queen first and you've blown your evolution path.
