What's New in Rankly
1.1.1
September 16, 2026
This is a large release. Almost every part of Rankly has been repaired or rebuilt. Sign in with Apple now works — it never had before. Signing in with Apple, Google or Facebook also sets your profile up from the name and picture they already hold, so you go straight into the app instead of filling in a form. Notifications arrive in the language you chose instead of always in English. Group polls left untouched for 30 days close by themselves, and a finished private poll shows its results list again. Polls: creating one works, and double-tapping Create no longer makes two. A poll nobody voted in no longer crowns a random option, a tie is reported as a tie instead of deadlocking, and a poll that ends in a draw or by being abandoned now tells everyone in it. If there is nothing you are allowed to pick, the app says so instead of showing a button that does nothing. Comments: threads load a page at a time, survive a bad mention, and no longer lose the text of a comment you edit. Accounts and safety: blocking someone now ends the friendship rather than only the notifications. Deleting your account takes your comments, reactions and photo with it. Signing out properly ends your Apple, Google and Facebook sessions, and your phone stops receiving the previous user's notifications. Your username can be changed from Settings, and changing your name, username or password no longer closes the app. Throughout: failed loads now say they failed instead of claiming a poll or group is empty. Text no longer overflows its box in any of the six languages, Arabic lays out right to left everywhere, and every icon-only button has a name a screen reader can announce and a tap area big enough to hit. The app is also considerably faster: opening a poll, the home feed and a group each read a fraction of the data they used to.
