(If you have the same issue go into settings open apps find Rarevision and disable them reenable all settings including gallery access.)
I’m on an iPhone 16e and the app just opens to a grey screen after I close out of it and open it back up. I cannot import videos without the grey screen as well. It’s actually unusable. I used to have this app and loved it and repurchased it, hope I can use it soon.

I absolutely love this app, me and my friends love making little skits with this and playing with the filters, although I downloaded the free version before this and then bought this one and I can’t seem to make this one look the same as the free version, if you can help me out please do so.
Got this for the fun of it, but realized it was a masterpiece.
This game is so awesome! You can change the date, make it shakier, and more! I just wanted to make a vhs horror vid, but made more vids too! This is so awesome, that I might use this for my camera now. I was thinking of getting a vhs camera, but I got this instead! So worth 6 dollars. Thank you for this app. It’s awesome.

SO GOOD
I LOVE the app it looks just almost like the real thing the only thing else is the crt filter but it is great for when you want to make a film or scary video it works great! 10/10
Crashes
On a 17 pro max, app is great I love it but I can’t even use the moment I click record it just crashes
Good app, but a few problems
I like using this app but something that annoys me is it keeps crashing all the time it’s a good app, but when I’m trying to run something to make it look like a VHS tape it will just crash at random points for some reason and that makes me kind of angry it’s a good app, but it just needs to fix on the crashes. It’s annoying.

Amazing VHS filters, but…
Absolutely LOVE Rarevision! Has helped me with a LOT of editing and is very realistic. However, there is one thing and it’s that it cannot remove the date and time. The closest it can get to doing ANYTHING with it is to spoof the recording date. there is no option to spoof the time aswell but that aside, Rarevision is amazing.

Old school recording in the modern era
This is hands-down the absolute best app for old-school recording in the modern era. The tracking lines and audio degradation look incredibly authentic!
I really want to set Rarevision as my default launch app for the iPhone’s hardware Camera Control button. Any chance you guys could implement Apple's LockedCameraCapture API in a future update so it shows up as an option in the iOS Camera Control settings? Launching straight into this retro viewfinder from a hardware click would be unbelievable!

It’s so buggy lately, it doesn’t work like it used to. 💔 It doesn’t let me change the filter at all.
Awesome, just one super small thing
I’ve used this to make some really cool picture compilations and I really love the way it looks, all I want to do is maybe just add a small button somewhere that lets you manually mess up the quality, that’s it though.

Remove text??
Please make a way to have no text on the screen. (play button, timestamp, etc) it vastly limits what can be done

Worth the money imo
Was looking for old cameras I could use to record my urban exploration at some abandoned mansions. Came across this app. I’ve tried other apps before and they lowkey suck. I did the free app first which is still good. Just less settings adjustments and a limit to recording. This paid version which is cheap to me is exactly what I needed for my urbex trip cause I wanted that vintage old vhs found footage feel.

App doesn’t work, crashes every time
I just bought the app and tried it out. However, whenever I imported a video the app keeps crashing. Such a waste!
