What's New in Rategale
2.0.5
August 13, 2026
What's New in 2.0.5 • Block, mute, or restrict someone — one flow, reachable from every place you see them. • Manage how you sign in: connect or disconnect Google and Apple from one page. • Reels now have their own tab on profiles, channels, and business pages. • Tap a photo to open it full screen — you now see who posted it, their rating, and what the post says, and you can follow, subscribe, or rate without leaving. • A creator's social score now appears under their name on posts and in comments, and the content owner is marked "Author" on their own comments. • Subscribe to a channel straight from the post; the button shows whether you are already subscribed. • Your profile QR code now carries the Rategale mark. • Pick your location from a list instead of typing it. • In your phone contacts, people already on Rategale now have the right action right there: message the ones you are friends with, send a friend request to the ones you are not, and accept the requests waiting for you. • Notifications about comments, reposts, sign-ins, and points now open the right screen when you tap them. • New messages that arrive while you are elsewhere in the app now play a sound. • Incoming calls are reported to the system reliably, so the call screen actually appears. • Fixed: sound effects only played once per app launch — reactions and message tones stayed silent after the first one. • Fixed: voice messages could stay stuck on "processing". • Fixed: other people's photo galleries were not showing. • Fixed: the unread badge could disappear or fall behind, and the chat list could stop updating. • Much more of the app now appears correctly in your own language.
