Choose Your Path Begin your journey by selecting one of five distinct weapon classes — the devastating Great Sword, the balanced Long Sword, swift Dual Blades, the bone-crushing Hammer, or the precise Bow. Each weapon brings a unique combat style with four tactical moves, giving every fight a different feel. Your choice shapes your strategy, but the world will test all of it. Hunt the Rathmons The lands are overrun with Rathmons — fearsome elemental creatures that roam every corner of the map. From fire-maned beasts trailing smoke and embers to ghostly wraiths drifting through ancient ruins, each creature is visually defined by its elemental type. Ten elements govern the world — Grass, Fire, Water, Ghost, Steel, Dark, Flying, Fighting, Dragon, and Poison — each with strengths, weaknesses, and immunities that reward smart tactics over brute force. Study your enemy, exploit their weakness, and claim victory. Level Up, Gear Up Every defeated Rathmon earns you experience and valuable materials. Seek out ancient checkpoints scattered across the map — glowing beacons of safety where you can rest, level up your three core stats (Vigour, Strength, and Intelligence), craft weapons and armour from the spoils of battle, and save your progress. Your stats determine everything: how much damage you deal, how much punishment you can take, and whether you can even attempt the most dangerous paths. Neglect your training and the mountain will turn you back. Conquer Four Realms The world is divided into four distinct areas, each more dangerous than the last. Begin in the Ashen Foothills, where rocky grasslands and fog-drenched forests surround the imposing Mount Cinderpeak. Push through the Drowned Marshes, a waterlogged labyrinth of ruins and bioluminescent swampland. Navigate the Shattered Citadel, a crumbling fortress city riddled with ambushes. Finally, ascend the Abyssal Spire — a volcanic nightmare of floating rock and lava rivers where only the strongest survive. Face the Bosses Each realm culminates in a climactic boss battle against a legendary Rathmon. At the summit of Mount Cinderpeak, Infernus awaits — a towering beast with a blazing fire mane, razor fangs, and a scorpion-tipped tail dripping with venom. Every boss commands four powerful moves, from brutal physical strikes to devastating elemental attacks that inflict lingering status effects. Learn their patterns, prepare at the checkpoint, and fight for your life. Defeat them to claim rare materials and forge the most powerful equipment in the game. Craft Your Legend Collect materials from every battle to craft and upgrade your gear at checkpoints. Equip a weapon and four pieces of armour across Head, Chest, Legs, and Arms slots. Boss materials unlock elite equipment with powerful set bonuses — wear a full set for unique passive abilities that can turn the tide of battle. Brew potions, mix antidotes, and forge attack boosts to give yourself every possible edge. Fast Travel and Explore Freely Discover checkpoints to unlock fast travel across the entire world. Return to previous areas to farm materials, re-challenge bosses, or explore paths you missed. The world is open and yours to navigate at your own pace.
