Rating Hider

Rating Hider is a Safari extension that hides player ratings on chess.com, so you can play the position instead of the number next to your opponent's name. Seeing a higher-rated opponent can make you play scared. Watching your own rating tick up and down after every game can turn practice into stress. Rating Hider takes the numbers off the screen and leaves everything else exactly as it was. WHAT IT HIDES • Ratings next to both players during live games • Your rating change on the game-over screen • Ratings in your game history and on profiles • Rating cards, charts and stats pages • Ratings while you search for a game, in challenges and in the daily lobby • Ratings on leaderboards • Your puzzle rating on the home page HOW IT WORKS Turn it on once in Settings (iPhone and iPad) or Safari Settings (Mac), and allow it on chess.com. Ratings are hidden from the moment each page loads. Nothing else on the page changes. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No accounts or sign-in • No tracking or analytics • No data leaves your device • Runs only on chess.com Rating Hider is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chess.com.
