Doesn’t work
The app wouldn’t even connect with a network.
Still among my top 10 apps
I have loved this app for years and even after all this time it in my top 10 app list. I use it on a regular bases and love the face that no internet is required. I travel on cruise ships on a regular basis and this is amazing for use without buying the expensive internet. Thanks so much.

Running iOS 17 and this app still connects and plays back video and files fine from my Rav-FileHub-2G-21AE.

App not working? Can’t connect
Not as good as the old version
1. Cannot use portrait mode on ipad mini; it is forced into landscape.
2. The upper part, about 10% of the screen, does not display properly on screens larger than iphone 5.
3. If both internet (wired or wireless) and wifi 2.4/5ghz are used, the transmission speed becomes unbelievably slow, particularly in third party apps, like vlc, nplayer, etc. Almost unusable. Not sure weather it’s a bug or functionality issue.
Problem 1 and 2 do not appear in the old version. Perhaps ios kills it. I’m preparing to migrate to android. Too many bugs and deliberate anti-consumer policy in iOS nowadays.

Makes the Ravpower device useless.

App crashes on startup
The app has been broken for months and seems to be abandoned after amazon banned rav from selling their products on amazon anymore so they rebranded to sell on amazon again and abandoned all rav products.
App Not Working
Just bought this hardware. Used it once and now the app doesn’t work and I can no longer use the device! Now it’s a paperweight.

Travel router stopped working. App stopped working. Developer website stopped working. Something very fishy going on. Useless app for a useless brick.

The latest iOS update made this app unusable. It starts and shows a splash screen for half a second and then disappears. How do they expect to sell more file hubs if they don’t have good software for their products?

Paper weight
So I bought the RAVPower file hub device, downloaded their app on m iPad, it wasn’t intuitive at all, when I figured it out, the process of transferring files was slow and the app crashed often. Now the will crash before it opens. Now the $70 device is useless.

I can’t even launch the app to connect to my FileHub device, making it useless. I tried all the “if your app crashes” remedies I could find.
