About

Rawdat al-Quran is where the Qur'an is recited to a teacher — live, one-to-one, voice to voice. Students find a teacher who is online now and recite. Teachers can use it to teach their own students. Rawdah means garden. The Prophet SAW described the gatherings of remembrance as gardens of Paradise, and that is our hope for every session, insha'Allah. In a session: • Teacher and student speak on a live audio call, with the same mushaf page open • The teacher marks the page as the student recites • The teacher's marks and session notes stay with the student — on the verse, and in their notebook Teachers can also share a private code, so their students can book a time with them. Every teacher holds an ijazah or an equivalent certification, and each application is reviewed. Rawdah is free - no fees, no ads, no in-app purchases. It also works in any browser at rawdah.live.

• Tajweed colours — see the rules of tajweed on the page (Hafs), with a colour legend. Turn them on from the display menu (the sliders icon). • Notes on a word, a verse or a passage — select across words and lines, choose a colour, and write. • One place for your notes — all your notes, highlights and underlines, by surah, date or session, with search. • Steadier live lessons — marks and notes appear instantly on both sides, a dropped connection no longer ends the lesson, and a status dot shows when either connection is weak. • A display menu for tajweed, markings, notes and day/night. • Page view refinements — evenly spaced lines and tap-the-edge page turns. • "Call Again" when a request expires, and a clearer way to report a problem after a session. • An app icon tuned for iOS 27, and many smaller fixes.
