About

Send files to nearby devices with RayDrop. Choose your files, confirm the receiving device and share directly over your local network—without creating a RayDrop account. SHARE WHAT YOU NEED Select files, folders, photos and videos, or send a text note. Use nearby discovery to find another device, scan its RayDrop connection QR code or enter its connection details manually. CONFIRM BEFORE YOU CONNECT Confirm the other device's identity on first contact. File integrity checks help verify that received data matches the source. KEEP TRANSFERS UNDER CONTROL See transfer status and follow clear recovery steps when something goes wrong. Supported interrupted transfers can be resumed when both devices are available and source access remains valid. Choose where received files are saved, or save supported received photos and videos to Photos. GETTING STARTED Both devices need RayDrop and access to the same local network. Allow Local Network access when prompted. Guest Wi-Fi, VPNs and router isolation can prevent devices from communicating. On iPhone and iPad, keep RayDrop open while transferring. iOS may suspend the app after you switch away or lock the screen. Return to the app to recover interrupted work; source access may require selecting files again. Help: https://raydrop.diducoder.com/support/ Privacy: https://raydrop.diducoder.com/privacy/

What's New in RayDrop

1.0.2

October 30, 2026

What's new in 1.0.2: • Faster, more reliable connections: when a device has several network addresses, RayDrop now tries them in parallel and uses the first that responds. Fixed stale devices lingering after a discovery error and a false "Local Network access is off" warning. • Easier QR pairing: connection QR codes are now web links, so you can scan them with the system Camera to open RayDrop and add the device. • Redesigned Add Device: device info and Add Device are now one sheet with separate Scan and Enter Manually sections, and you'll be told when a device is already in your list. • Text transfers: the per-message limit is raised to 1 MiB, tasks are titled by their first line, and senders can now view the text they sent. • Fixed endless reconnect attempts and repeated first-time confirmation after an interrupted transfer, transfers cancelled by the other device now show as cancelled by the peer, the wait for the receiver to accept is more reasonable, and RayDrop reconnects faster after the other device restarts. • History: swipe (or hover on desktop) to delete a single entry, or clear everything at once. Deleting a text entry also removes its locally stored content. • New "Install on other devices" guide to get RayDrop on your phone, tablet, and computer.
