About
RayKin is a family AI tool managed by parents and guardians.
When a family member encounters a difficult problem, wants to understand an object, or wants to better remember an English word, you can bring in existing materials and embark on a guided exploration with a starting point, a process, and a result.
RayKin is not a general-purpose AI chat tool. Each experience has its own entry point, guidance method, and outcome format. Parents don't need to research how to write prompts beforehand; simply choose the current scenario to begin.
* Continue from the steps already written: Take a picture of the math problem and the solution process, starting with the first part that needs checking. RayKin will guide family members to explain their reasoning and compare genuinely different solutions, rather than just providing the final answer.
* Turn problems into a visual knowledge gallery: Input an object, a technology, or a concept, and RayKin will organize it into a set of visual panels. You can use exploded views to disassemble objects, trace the evolution of technology from ancient times to the present, or magnify from the naked eye all the way to the microscopic and molecular scales.
* Create practice sheets you can take home to your desk: Enter your grade level, math topic, and practice goals, then choose between black and white (to conserve ink), cartoon illustrations, or vibrant colors, as well as interest-based themes like dinosaurs, space, and detectives, to generate printable A4 math practice sheets.
* Explore English vocabulary in a structured way: Choose from root words, phonics, contextual images, or adaptive methods based on word characteristics, combined with active recall and spaced repetition; you can also start with etymological stories to understand how a word formed its current meaning.
As an independent developer, I often discuss the latest ways to use AI with my nine-year-old child. However, I’ve noticed that most AI tools focus on boosting productivity, lacking designs that inspire or facilitate practical family activities.
I hope to provide a concrete and easy-to-start entry point so that parents don't need to be AI experts to help their families explore and actually use developing AI technology. The "weaving" in "Weaving the Light Field" refers to gradually connecting questions, ideas, and different perspectives; the "light" represents the occasional sparks of curiosity and thought in everyone; and the "field" is a space where family members and AI can participate together.
This app is for parents and guardians. Accounts, payments, profile settings, and AI usage are all managed by adults. AI-generated content may be inaccurate; please verify important information with your family.
