Great when it works
I use remote mirroring to control some boat systems from my phone, to monitor fuel gauge during refueling, and to upload route gpx files. Unfortunately over half the time it fails to connect with the message “the connection to this display has been lost”
Won’t stay open
The app opens for about 1 second then closes itself. Why is the so hard to write an app that has minimal functionality?

Not terrible when it connects
Most of the time, my iPhone and iPad fail to connect to the screen. When it does connect it is good for replicating and connecting the screen. But to get it to work I even have to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Promises a lot
Doesn’t deliver the same high end results as their plotters and other devices. Buggy and fails to connect to the Axiom Pro 2 device reliably which is a big let down as I’ve spent 10k in the last few weeks on a Raymarine system. Needs more validation work to be completed. Connectivity is decidedly flakey and have had to uninstall and reinstall to get anywhere. Hopefully it is not a regular problem

Useless
I used the old Raymarine app with my old chart plotter. It worked fine. The new app, linked to my Axiom 2pro, is utterly useless. I can connect once only, after which the app is unable to connect to the chart plotter, and gives an error message every time. The only way to recount is to delete the app, then reload it - every single time. Why can’t Raymarine make something that actually works?

Version 2.3.7 cannot login server issues. Why do I need to login to the world to talk to the instruments on the boat? Marketing over execution. Good thing it is not remotely important….

This app is basically useless, continuously disconnects and drops wifi.
Managed to get it to work for 20 days, crossing from Panama to French Polynesia, a 31day voyage. App then refuses to connect with error message “another device is using touch control”
I had only connected to my IPad Pro so what other device could be hijacking the touch control.
RayRemote was a much better app, especially with the right hand pullout draw.
Come on Raymarine, fix this!

Zumindest mal ein Anfang
Es wird das MFD gespiegelt.
Somit ist ein Anfang gemacht.
Und es bleibt viel hinsichtlich der Nutzerfreundlichkeit zu tun.
Z. B.
Die Auflösung zu verbessern, die Herstellung der Verbindung zu vereinfachen….
Tatsächlich war hier meine Erwartung an ein von Raymarine angebotenes System deutlich höher.
Damit, dass ein zweites WLan eröffnet wird und das Mobilgerät dann keinen Internetzugang mehr hat, muss man wohl leben, mit der schlechten Bildqualität aber eher nicht.
Somit ist ein Anfang gemacht.
Und es bleibt viel hinsichtlich der Nutzerfreundlichkeit zu tun.

Surprisingly Bad
I got it to connect to a new Axiom 2 exactly once. Then it wouldn’t take the saved WiFi password. Reentered PW and it says it’s connected, but it won’t do anything. It worse than a beta. It shouldn’t even be released to the public. Shame on Raymarine.

Die Bildschirmübertragung funktioniert inzwischen zuverlässig – das ist super! Ich sehe noch viel Potenzial: Mit einem Axiom-Plotter im WLAN des Hafens gäbe es viele spannende Funktionen, die die App richtig nützlich machen könnten. Es wäre toll, wenn Raymarine diese Möglichkeiten in zukünftigen Updates ausschöpfen würde.

Inutilisable
Application d’une lenteur épouvantable, qui propose une expérience désastreuse entre 2 coupures, bref, c’est inutile dangereux sur un bateau. Raymarine, quand allez-vous corriger cela ?
Poor connectivity and resolution
I recently used this app on a passage from Florida to Annapolis on a 44 foot catamaran and encountered two major flaws. First, the connectivity failed about every 15 minutes or so even when my iPad was a mere 10-15 feet away from my Axiom mfd. Second, the resolution was awful - I am not sure if that is an iPad issue but I doubt it. I could deal with the lag but these first two issues really need to be addressed to make the app usable. I appreciate Raymarine may not want the app to eat into their mfd business, nonetheless then they should pretend this app is usable. Deeply disappointed.

Qualité de service déplorable
Impossible de garder la connexion ouverte plus de 10min. Même à moins d’un mètre du moniteur. Très grosse latence entre la tablette et le moniteur.
