Reminders messed up

After the latest app update the daily reminders for my Mom do not repeat if she marks it as acknowledged. I have to create the same daily reminder and voice reminder each day. I don’t even see an edit button if she acknowledges it so I have to start from scratch every day. This defeats the purpose of having important daily reminders like “take your pills”.. I’ve called tech support twice and they have put a ticket in with the developers. I hope they are working on it. Other than this latest fiasco , the phone and app tends to work well.

Only good for seniors WITHOUT memory issues

There is no way to remove the ability to call 911 which is a big issue when the senior is living in an assisted living facility. UNLESS of course you subscribe to the RAZ emergency service for $13 a month. You can disable 911 as a contact and at the top of the phone by allowing use of the keypad, but allowing the keypad function lets the senior call ANYONE. Which again causes issues because you can’t restrict to only call contacts. Sadly we are going to have to return it. I was so hoping this would be the best phone. Very disappointed.

Must have for elderly parents

My mother is over 80, and just not technically savvy. This phone has saved ours of confusion and radio silence. Now we keep in touch and guarantee that someone has spoken to her at least once a day. Even if your parents do not have dementia, I highly recommend it.

Outstanding Support & Great Product

Purchased for MIL dealing with cognitive decline, hearing loss, and macular degeneration. The phone is easy for her to operate and easy for me to customize/monitor. We haven’t experienced battery life issues mentioned by other reviews. The customer support, both online chat and phone, have been fantastic. Setting this up was super easy. Would love to have an option to remove both the keypad & emergency services button in the future - as this is a sticking point for her as she gets stuck on the keypad accidentally and I can’t remove emergency without activating keypad but that’s my only complaint.

Could Be Better!

This phone has soo much potential. My mother has Alzheimer’s and gets taken advantage of by the people around her. It would be nice to be able to see text messaging logs as well, since I know people are texting her for money but she deletes them. The caregiver should be able to delete it on the app. Another suggestion for the developers would be to have a do not disturb feature like iPhones.
