Broke app

App is broken and I’m pretty sure they don’t update the app anymore since they don’t sell the Sila

Good if would keep it updated

Phone updated firmware app did not no longer works at all

App not working

Having trouble getting past sign in it just infinitely spins on a neon green screen

Sometimes it works

Some days this app can create a guest network, others it spins for minutes and eventually fails. Very unreliable

Doesn’t support 2-step authentication.

If you have enacted the 2-step authentication for your Razer account, then you can no longer login the app. This company is good at making commercial advertisement but poor at maintaining software.

App is a good idea if it worked

The app makes a few things easier than using the router web GUI
Like setting up parental controls, and setup in general..

The downside However is the app barely works..
When setting up parental controls on the app it’s simple you choose the days and time an click apply, sadly the app will say couldn’t connect to server or portal offline when it’s online

Doing parental controls via the webgui uses a 24 hr format, the app uses 12hr.. when using the webgui it always says invalid format..

The app randomly says something is wrong with your Sila am won’t connect even though it’s on an fine an will connect only after restarting whatever device uses the app.

Adding a vpn config will instantly make the router try an connect to it, and it never does... even with the right info

Razor support for this product is awful

Yes the router is on the latest firmware... also the really really bad part is this router has no real time logging section, you have to plug a usb device into the router an start logging an then open the log from the usb... if these minor bugs were fixed and added certain features from the app or fixed the app it would be so much better,

So Far So Good!

I set up a mesh connection using 2 Sila’s and so far my connection is flawless. I have the 2nd unit connected directly to my Xbox one and the speeds match my wired connection! This is definitely going to create a better experience for my family. All of our devices get a strong connection throughout our entire house now. Set up was too easy with this mobile app, both Sila’s were ready to go in under 10 minutes. I haven’t configured any advance settings yet but out the box everything is seems perfect.

Short

Good overall user navigation.

Does what it says on the tin, but...

I presumed all of this app’s functionality would allow be available via the web portal, and that’s not the case. So you unfortunately need both the app and the web portal to do everything, whereas I personally think the app should be more optional and more of its functionality needs to show up in the web portal, too.

Broken

App was good but needs update. Crashes when I open parental controls ever since the last iPhone update.

Keeps crashing

It’s a very handy software but yet again, it needs to be updated to fix crashes

Meh...ok

Replaced some eero v2. With a couple of this. Difficult to notice much difference in real world scenarios. To see a positive impact was my expectation and it did not happen.

Better Than Anticipated

Through the initial setup and first few days with the router the level of polish is better than I’d expected. The first version of the app is already miles beyond other routers I’ve owned, and hopefully they continue to iterate and improve.

Great.

Tried setting up router today, nice and easy. Happy experience so far.
