Excelente herramienta!!

Instrumento magnífico para complementar de forma final la preparación para el examen final!

Good flash cards

I love that this is very like the exam questions. Gives the right answer when you select wrong, but there is no explanation. Lot of pictures. I like this

Could be better

There are no explanations to why an answer is wrong when you do a practice exam. There could be more information in the study material section.

Helpful but lacks basic features

Unable to go back to questions once submitted. Formulas are not shown or elaborated on. Simply right or wrong and goes to the next question. Great pictures tho.

INV CVT

Great product and study practices but if there was an explanation when picking the wrong answer it would be perfect.

Good supplement

I got the Glowacki & Sommers RCIS review course. This was a good supplement to the material I already studied in the course. The practice questions and angiograms were good as well. It didn’t include all the material on the RCIS exam, but it’s a good addition and practice. I passed the exam no trouble with these two resources.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking time to review my app! I’m glad it was helpful for your studying needs. Using multiple sources for studying is an excellent strategy, especially in an ever-evolving field such as this one! It can be challenging for any one source to capture all of the content needed for review. I truly appreciate your honest feedback.

RCIS review

I love the idea but I felt as though for the price the questions were novice level with no explanations. I believe it has great potential and hope the designer can make it better.

It's okay

Very basic information. It would be nice to see more variety in equipment information etc. quizzes are okay

Great tool

I enjoy this app for practicing, but you really need to write things down. They don’t have a section to review what you got wrong. And once they tell you it’s wrong-they don’t let you go back to look. & I Wish they gave an option to test on specific subjects, rather than just an overview.

RCIS Study App

PLEASE UPDATE!!! This app could use some work. For example, the ability to review missed questions, more questions in general, impella and information. The study portion is a joke. Definitely not worth 10 bucks right now. Hopefully the developers start reading the comments and make some changes.

RCIS app crashes

App is great but needs to be updated for iOS 13.1.1. The app crashes on my phone.

Response from developer

Hi amilar7, thank you for your review! I appreciate your positivity despite an unsatisfactory experience. The update to version 2.3.0 will address the app crashing for users on iOS 13.1 and its due to release in the next day or two!

Great app, just wish I could go back and see the question and multiple choice answers, for review. Also would like to know if I got the right answer to the last question instead of my % right in the exam.

Needs exam feedback

Great app however when I get a question wrong it doesn’t help me understand the answer or how to get to it. Need feedback at least at the end of an exam to help me focus my studying in what is needed.

Response from developer

Hello gsprojen, Thank you for your suggestion. This feature is something I'd like to implement, however I am focusing development on launching the RCIS Study Guide App on Android for those who don't have an iOS device. Once this is completed I plan to explore the best way to implement more detailed feedback for questions. In the meantime I hope the other features of the RCIS Study Guide App continue to be useful for your studies! Thanks again for taking the time to review my app. Happy studying!

RT studying for CI exam

I’m using this app to help study for my ARRT CI exam. I know the tests are different, but I haven’t found much study info for the ARRT. I’ve tried multiple apps to try to study and this one is by far the best I’ve come across. Although, I do agree with some other reviewers that the questions are a little repetitive. Also, it is frustrating when I am confident in my answer and the app says it’s wrong but I can’t go back to review. I think a feature at the end of the exam showing all of the questions marked wrong with a brief explanation might be helpful? Or possibly a way to flag questions similar to the real life exam to review before submission? Overall I really like the app and it’s helped me improve my confidence with the different equations. I’m averaging an 87% and I’m hoping that will translate when I finally take my boards. Fingers crossed!!!

Wasn’t impressed

I figured I’d give this app a try despite some of the poor reviews. However, I can agree that it could be a lot better as far as structure. I am disappointed that it gives you the correct answer if you get it wrong, however no explanation of how to get the correct answer if it involves math or why the wrong answer is wrong, etc. During practice questions you are unable to go back or skip a question and cannot see the questions again unless you screen shot them. Don’t set your expectations to high. Sad this wasn’t as good as I had hoped.

Response from developer

Dear Micahlkelly, Thank you for your honest review of my app! I appreciate your feedback regarding the structure of the app and the correct answer response system. These are very useful points! Part of the challenge with app design is balancing a simple user interface while implementing a variety of features. Some of the features you mentioned above are certainly worth looking into. I sincerely hope you do find some value in your experience using the RCIS Study Guide App. My goal is to make studying for the RCIS easier for everyone, not more confusing. Thanks again for reviewing my app! Sincerely, Jared Lapointe

Needs Improvement

This app needs more questions. I can take a 20 question quiz and the one behind it will have 5-7 questions from the previous quiz. The section about hemodynamics should also have more information.

Response from developer

Dear CVT student, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback on my app! I’m very sorry you are feeling disappointed using it. I appreciated your point about repeat questions in the exam section, as well as added material in the hemodynamics section. Currently each exam is generated using a random assortment of questions (which sometimes includes repeats). Your review has brought this concern to my attention, and I thank you for that! As a past RCIS exam taker I want people to have an easier experience studying for this exam than I did, so I developed this app. Your feedback helps me to deliver the best user experience to you, as well as other users, and I sincerely appreciate it! I regularly update this app so please stay tuned for future updates. Thank you, Jared Lapointe

Nice looking app

A nice looking app with some playful animations and details... should make studying a little more fun!

Response from developer
