Needs two additions….
Great app but needs to be able to keep settings without defaulting back to FHD or the default mic setting on restart. Also needs the Exposure Compensation slider as per the IPhone camera app.

Glaring omission
s a professional content creator utilizing the RØDE ecosystem, the total absence of a native teleprompter/autocue in RØDE Capture is a critical operational bottleneck.While the app’s technical audio integration is excellent, video production requires workflow efficiency. Forcing solo creators to choose between advanced RØDE audio control and maintaining direct eye contact via third-party script apps defeats the purpose of an all-in-one "Pro" video tool.An autocue isn't a luxury feature; it is the fundamental framework of modern mobile video delivery. Please prioritize a native, scrolling text-overlay feature in the next development cycle so creators don't have to abandon the app for competitors who understand creative workflows.

Designed for RØDE video production
I read other reviews and no it’s not the best STAND ALONE camera app but if you’re using it with the RODE Video or Video S it makes your video production skyrocket! I run 4 cameras to my switcher no wires with no problem.
Audio glitch
I was so excited to test my new NT-USB+ with iPhone 16 to record piano practices. However I’ve noticed random high pitch glitch in audio once in a while. So basically it is not usable at all for my use case.
Significant sync & audio issues
The latest release (1.3.134) has introduced significant sync issues and audio playback problems. I have lip-sync ‘drift’ on camera/audio evident within a few minutes of a recording. And when reviewing saved files in iOS Photos, the audio then drops out part way through a file/video.
These are new problems that make the app’s output unusable unless you’re prepared manually edit-sync in post production, which - needless to say - shouldn’t be necessary.

Audio cuts out in the middle of videos
I have four separate videos in which I am recording reviews of products fully stationary or with little movement and partially into the video the audio stops. Incredibly frustrating. Now I must redo all my work with a different more reliable program. Incredibly disappointing, now I truly understand the low reviews.

Cut out audio
I was glad to use the app and have my audio line from an instrument, but I noticed every time my audio would cut off on playback with my iPhone. I used another app which has lower playback quality, but the audio did not drop.
CANT USE FLASHLIGHT?! HOW TF CAN YOU MESS UP A SIMPLE FEATURE
The only good part about this app is the mic, besides that the whole app is pointless. Blackmagic camera app is the same. What moron decided it would be a great feature to use a “auto” flash feature which doesn’t even work instead of adding an “on” button. You don’t understand how such a minor error like this can be so annoying when trying to make a video

Great app that got ruined with updates
The visuals or the app are phenomenal, yet each update makes the app worse than previous one. The latest update makes the sound suddenly stop recording in the middle of the video, so you never know if what you recorded will actually get saved.
Before releasing updates make sure they are bug free!

A lot of problems don’t used don’t used if you make videos or any kind of videos don’t use this app even if you have any rode wireless products
This app is pretty terrible
I love these mics but this app is horrible. It likes to pick and choose when it stabilizes video. It would appear that when your phone battery is low, the app begins to get buggy. I’ve also had issues with the app capturing audio out of sync with the video. For the love of God fix this app or just scrap it all together. Why produce something that so bad. Put some effort into it. For reference I’m using an IPhone 14pro 1TB. Fix your app or change it and have it link to Apple and Android phone camera where we can control its settings from there.

Opens up more options, but…
It’s great to have access to more camera functionality, however, one glaring omission for anyone with a semi-new iPhone is the lack of zoom options: 5x, 28mm and 35mm.

Just Use Final Cut Camera
Something’s pretty off with how the app handles switching between cameras when zooming, making it almost look like a mosaic filter has been applied before it catches up and switches to the right camera.

Review
This app is so amazing and records in 4K but I think the only weak point about is its front cam has no border style, width and color. Its front cam should have border styles like circular, square etc.
Recorded video was not saved
The app by itself is actually great, it allows for many different things, but the last video I shot was not saved to the camera roll and it’s a big deal for me because what I recorded was important! I think it was due to my storage, but why couldn’t it stop recording instead of just deleting the whole footage? Also it would be nice to have volume settings saved, I always need to adjust it to the same value

Lots of Issues
I’ve had a very frustrating experience using this app. I mainly switched because the default record volume while using the iPhone’s camera app is very low. Switching to this app caused a lot of problems. The white balance constantly gets out of whack, causing a forced restart. The video quality overall is lower for some reason which is an odd default setting. It also keeps telling me I’m out of storage when I have dozens of GB left on my device. Hard to recommend this.

Auto focus doesn’t work with Dual Cam
So it’s utterly useless unless you’re filming something static at least 30cm+ away. When you move in on something it doesn’t focus. And you cant tap to focus either. iPhone 16 Pro Max.
