Awesome when it opens
Response from developer
Thanks so much for the kind words. We’re really glad you’re enjoying the app overall! That blank processing screen definitely isn’t expected, and we’d love to help get that sorted. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at support@read.ai so we can take a closer look.
Life changing.
Upload Issues
The phone app is only good at accessing the features that are already on the desktop.
Requesting that the app save audio recordings taken within the mobile app directly to iPhone “Files” until they can be uploaded to read.ai. I should be able to record something, stop the recording and exit, and then close the app and still be able to access the meeting file on my phone.
Other apps that do this: Preview, Voice Recorder, WhatsApp

Test
Can't sign in
App not working
Doesn’t work
Beyond this… app is not set up for mobile screens. On opening page of app is record button (won’t work if you don’t sign in and give access to your calendar) and another button I cannot read as it is is cut-off and screen does not scroll.
No other options,no help/support
Disappointing App Experience
Response from developer
Hi there, we’re sorry to hear about the issue you’ve experienced with the mobile app. If redownloading the app doesn't resolve the problem, please reach out to support@read.ai with a screenshot of what you’re seeing so we can investigate and address it as quickly as possible.
Excellent app for note taking
Much to be desired
I haven't been able to get the app configured because I'm not able to get past connecting it to a Google or Outlook calendars; but if I don't have either one then what am I supposed to do?
It seems to me as this app just wants your contacts and calendar details. I've written to support, and hopefully they could provide more detail details as to how. To navigate within their app and to make it function as a note, taking AI that can generate summaries.
I don't do web meetings and I don't have a calendar so is this app actually able to function without those two parameters? As of right now, I don't believe so hopefully support can provide more clarity. Very disappointed.
Response from developer
Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Read requires a calendar to be connected upon account creation in order to detect upcoming meetings and determine proper access permissions for reports based on meeting participants. If you’re able to connect a calendar, you can still capture impromptu meetings on iOS by just opening the app and pressing Record. If you don’t use Google, Outlook, or Zoom calendars, we understand the onboarding flow may be frustrating. We appreciate you flagging this, and we’ll pass your feedback along to our team, who appreciates user input when planning and prioritizing our development roadmap.
Excellent! Easy. Love it

Review
UX needs work
Also their video player is miserable.
I say this as a paying corporate user that continues to use the app but this should be mentioned.
