Great way to engage kids with reading
Read for Rewards is a fun app that encourages kids to read real paper books.
The kids scan in the pages they’ve read or will read and then they’re presented with questions on what they read.
I set them a goal of 60 points for an hour of gaming. It’s probably about 12 pages to read. What’s cool is the app can also set a timer to remind you when it’s up.
Kids now ask me if they can read!
