Well I am going 2 tell u the math behind it it is easy
If u choose a number from:
10-19 = 9 look 10-1=9. And 13-1-3= 9 and so on
20-29 = 18 do the math and u will see
30-31 = 27
40-49 = 36
50-59 = 45
AND SO ON DO THE MATH
If u choose a number from:

This always works as long as you follow the instructions! It is never wrong!

Lassen sich erwachsene damit echt beeindrucken? Der Trick ist doch sowas von simple: egal welche Zahl man sich zwischen 10 und 19 aussucht, das Ergebnis nach der Subtraktion ist immer =9. Sucht man sich eine Zahl zwischen 20 und 29 aus ist das Ergebnis immer =18. Zwischen 30 und 39 ist es immer =27 usw. Und 9, 18, 27, 36... sind immer die selben Tiere. Sicherlich ein nettes Rätsel für einen Viertklässler, aber mehr dann auch nicht...
