This app helped my kids learn how to pronounce and read they love it it has fun learning games and all kinds of things. It’s totally free and no adds so you don’t have to worry about your kids getting interrupted snd constantly needing help

Unusable for children
No audio prompt on the sound of the thing they’re supposed to identify, dragging letters from the bottom of the screen cause the game window context to change to other background apps.

Great App & Great Support Service
I downloaded this app on my phone to try it out before installing it on my daughter’s iPad. Worked great, I installed on iPad and it wouldn’t work kept popping up with error message. I deleted it on my phone thinking that may be the problem. Still didn’t work then reinstalled it on phone to be treated with same error. I found the app on instagram and messaged them regarding the issue with the error message and they responded very quickly and quickly worked to fix the issue and the app is now working on both devices with no further issues.
Also the games my daughter has played so far have been quick, engaging and enjoyable. Hopefully this will help to consolidate her phonics knowledge and improve her assessment targets at school.

Absolute Rubbish!!!
Do not download this app. The games are absolutely basic and better could be found on free apps. They also provide no support when you need it. I have emailed, tweeted and DM’ed them with no response. They take your money and provide no receipt.
Glitch
I rally like the content in the app but two things need to be fixed. Each letter has 7 steps to complete. Lately, when you have to drag a letter, the letter disappears and you have to restart the letter, it doesn’t restart where you left off. Secondly, there’s this alien that applauds you when you get it right but it’s so obnoxious that my daughter doesn’t like to use this app. Please fix it!

App doesn’t display properly on iPad screen leaving options missing and tasks not possible to complete
Not working properly
On a iPhone it happens a lot that you cannot click on a letter at the bottom of the screen which leads to frustration. Had to uninstall
Great tool for parents and teachers!
As a parent and a SENCO I think this app is amazing. Really interactive and fun, it’s keeps children engaged while learning/revising their phonics. My five yr old loves it, as does older children that I work with as a SENCO. Great deals for schools as well.
Don’t believe the hype
The app worked to some extent, but the main issue when you’re trying to move on. I’ve been trying to close my account and the company has been silent. No returned emails to my request to shut my account down. I’m going to be reporting the app to apple in the hopes that they might be able to help me out.
I would recommend trying an app where the company who develops the app is more responsive to there clients.

Fun but with a few flaws
I am a primary TA and I bought my son (3.5) this app to help prepare him for starting school in September. I thought £7.99 was a bit pricy but was prepared to pay for all the sounds after he enjoyed the demo so much and showed a real willingness to learn from it.
For the most part it’s great and my son loves it but there are a couple of issues that really need addressing. Some of the sounds aren’t very clear, e.g. s and ss come out as ‘psssss’ and I have to address it and correct it every time. The other problem is with some of the words in the games (particularly the alien words one) - my son has only just completed phase two sounds but some of the words are coming out with sounds that are at the end of phase three so he is not yet able to read them independently. These fixes would really benefit children using the app who are just starting out with reading.

NOT FREE
I only downloaded this as there was no mention of charges. After only a couple of sounds you cannot progress further without payment for each section. Otherwise my daughter was very pleased with the minimal amount she was able to do.
App won't load
I found this app really helpful for my daughter but thanks to apple being greedy and not adding updates for the iPad 4 it won't load anymore I think this is disgusting as I had paid for the full app I have managed too get a refund but still it was very helpful for my daughter
3rd April update now won't load
I purchased the full app for £7.99 on the 31st of March 2020.
It was updated on the 3rd of April 2020, and now won't open.
I've reported it to the developers, and I will update this if it's resolved.
In the meantime, I would suggest not paying for anything, as Apple don't support or refund in app purchases.

Excellent
I use it as a teacher and a parent. As a teacher the ability to see areas of learning is great for assessments and it really prepares for the phonics screening. As a parent my son loves it and can get on with his learning independently.

Love the game, shame about the bug
Really love this app and my children like it. Paid for full game. Would have given 5 stars but unfortunately, some sort of bug on the game, so that now the game freezes when a level has been reached and the game on other levels cannot not be played, as it shows a blank screen. It can take a day before the game/level can be played again before it happens again. I have emailed support and initially helpful, they said this has never happened before (according to previous app reviews, it has) and an update would be available the following day. 2 weeks later no new updates.... waiting...

Do not buy this app just yet
I think there might be something dodgy going on with their subscriptions they may not be aware of or they are just ignoring my emails. Hold off for now. I hope to get a response to find out what is happening.
