Does a great job on accuracy. I did not see any failures. It does however take a while to complete transcriptions of one hour or more.

Nice if the original transcription with the recording time location could be downloaded, as it separates the voices nicely. I really like this App though.
WISH I DISCOVERED THIS SOONER
I have been subscribing to Otter.ai as it is the best at what it does but not cheap. I have tried lots of cheaper or free transcription apps but they are not good. I must admit I wasnt expecting much from Readable. How wrong I was. My first test was a 10 minute video lecture. After transcribing I watched the lecture again and check the transcribed text for accuracy. Not only was it 100% accurate but it added a question mark at the end of every question posed by the lecturer but also omitted to record a couple of times when the speaker stumbled. Incredible!! I am going to proof read the next two or three results and if they prove to be the same I will have full confidence in the apps accuracy.

Good to use
At last a simple, affordable and offline voice transcription app that seems to be as accurate or better than the many I have tried

The software works very well for me. I can’t understand the negative remarks. For now I am very satisfied. Well done.
Very Excellent Transcribing Software
I've been very impressed with this software. It is easy to use, easy to learn. provides 99% flawless transcriptions, it estimates and adds punctuation and capitalization very realistically, greatly reducing post-translaton editing efforts. It can also easily and efficiently do bulk transcriptions. I used it recently to transcribe ten 1-hour speech videos (mp4) which it did seamlessly with much better than expected output text. I can highly recommend this program and its inexpensive compared to others.

Impressed!
Was tired of manually typing notes from recorded lectures, so thought I'd give this a try. This app not only transcribes, but to my amazement it tries to clean up the sentences as well. For example, it ignores the word "umm" and also ignores if parts of a sentence are repeated, etc. That is super helpful! It's not perfect, and will sometimes hear a different word than that which was spoken, but overall I am super impressed and would highly recommend this app.

Die Erfassung der Texte klappt sehr gut (überwiegend). Schade ist, dass beim Textexport die Zeitanzeigen nicht mit exportiert werden.

Ich habe dieses App einfach umsonst bezahlt. Meine Audio-Dateien lassen sich einfach nicht lesen bzw.transkribieren.

Hallo, Das sollte natürlich nicht so sein.Um welche Art von Datieren handelt es sich denn? Gibt es eine Fehlermeldung, bzw. an welcher Stelle des Ablauf passiert nichts? Ich bin mir sicher wir finden die Ursache und das Problem lässt sich beheben. Gruß Daniel Witt support@witt-software.com
It says “allows you to create text from audio or video”, but no video format works
In addition, not having access to the files in the photo app, where videos are automatically saved, makes it a hassle

Hi there and thanks for your feedback. I will add a video picker with the next update. However you should also be able to just open videos from the Photos app in Readable Voice using the share button and you can also open any file in the Files app. Let me know if there is anything bf else I can improve. By far, one of your best apps for transcribing audio (even from video files)! My one and o ly quible is that it substitutes BOSTIN for AUSTIN.

Die App ist sehr gut zum Transkribieren in der selben Sprache. Will heißen, wenn eine Audiodatei englische Sprache enthält, dann macht RV daraus korrekten englischen Text.
Ich habe bisher 4 englischsprachige 30 min. Podcasts ohne Hintergrundgeräusche etc transkribiern lassen und das lief wunderbar!
Es gibt aber augenscheinlich auch einen Bug, bei dem die App in von sich aus in einer anderen Sprache transkribiert, als die Audiodatei. Das kam öfter vor. Ein Neustart der App hilft dem allerdings ab.
Etwas Schade ist auch, dass die Darstellung mit Zeitindex nicht als Text exportiert werden kann und dass der Text dann nicht automasch als "Namen der Audiodatei".txt exportiert wird.
Hier wären einige erweiterte Voreinstellungen wünschenswert.
Das Beste an der App ist aber immer noch, dass hier keine Internetverbindung oder Subscription (pun intended) notwendig ist.
Deswegen: Ja! Klare Empfehlung!!
