Ads make it unusable

This has the potential to be a great app for website text to speech reading. However, the Ads make it unusable. It will pause your audio every 30 seconds or so to pop up a display ad asking you to purchase the pro version. You have to wait 5 seconds before you can close the ad and then have to press play again to resume your Audio. What a pain! I would totally respect having an ad when you open the app, even another one when you open a new page/article, but every 30 seconds is overkill. I would also consider purchasing pro if it was a one time purchase of maybe $4.99, but they are asking for $4.99 PER WEEK as a subscription, or $9.99 a month. What a crazy price to ask for! I will be deleting this app and encourage you to not waste your time either.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and for recognizing the potential of our app for website text to speech reading. We appreciate your honest opinion and we are always looking for ways to improve our app and user experience. We would like to clarify a few points that you mentioned in your review. First, the text to speech feature pauses every minute, not every 30 seconds. We'd recommend trying out our speed reading/listening feature to finish a page in a minute or less – it's a game-changer! Second, the price of the pro version is set to reflect the value and quality of our app. If you find our app useful and are serious about being more productive, you can opt for the yearly purchase, which costs only 96 cents per week. That's less than a cup of coffee! We hope that you will give our app another chance and see for yourself how it can help you read faster, better, and easier. Thank you for choosing our app and we hope to hear from you again soon. :)

In App Purchase Headache

No use of this app without in app purchases. Luckily I just download this app since it’s free to download today. If anyone download this paying 9.99$ and find later no use without further payment for a subscription will loose their hope. I’m deleting this since no use. Thanks

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and for trying our app. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by our app's pricing policy. Our app offers a free trial period of 30 days, during which you can access all the features and content of our app without any charge. You can also skip the subscription screen by tapping on the "X" button at the top right corner. After the trial period ends, you will be charged a subscription fee per year, unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period. You can cancel your subscription at any time. We would also like to inform you that our app was always free to download and currently we are offering a 30 day trial for the yearly purchase for a limited time. This means that you can enjoy our app for a whole month without paying anything, and then decide whether you want to continue with the yearly plan or not. The yearly plan costs $49.99 per year, which is a 60% discount from the monthly plan. This is a great opportunity to save money and get the most out of our app. We believe that our app provides a valuable service and a unique experience for our users. Our app allows you to listen to any text in a natural and realistic voice, with various options to customize the voice settings. You can also browse any website and read out loud with our app. Our app supports over 50 languages and dialects, and can also speak text into another language. We appreciate your support and we value your opinion.

As a text, reader

As a tax reader, it is not worth the effort

Response from developer

Hi Mr. Dissatisfy, thanks for reaching out to us. The app is completely free as a text reader. You can use column view and read as a newspaper, change theme color for text and background, change font size, change reading direction from left to right or vertical. All these text reader features are totally free. Only text to speech feature has limited access for free users. We hope you will be our regular user and find some useful features in this app.

Absolutely love this app but…

I love this app to pieces but the only problem is that I can’t make as many folders as I want and ads for the subscription pop up every five seconds. I have no problem with the ads if I could continue to listen while they’re up and just exits out of them later but since I can’t it makes it extremely annoying. I also hate that I have to pay to make new files to store my pdfs in and stay organized which I think is extremely annoying and unnecessary

Not very user-friendly

If you’re looking for an app that is easy to use and has good tutoring videos…this isn’t it.
