Not good at all

It won’t even open

Fun game but very limited

My son really does well with this game. He is 9 with dyslexia and this game gives him confidence.

However, we have been doing the free trial for 2 days now and it limits what he can do in a day. The developers say to play for 10 mins a day, however over the last 2 days he has only been able to play for 11 minutes total before it tells him to come back tomorrow.

There is no way I am going to pay $10 a month for something he can only use 6 minutes a day.

Response from developer

Hey Joy, The daily play limit you are seeing is intentional and part of how the program is designed. Our curriculum is planned to present about 15 minutes of new learning content per day because our pedagogue has found this is best for focus, retention, and confidence building for children. After your child completes the day’s missions and reaches Mission 4, the Arcade mode (roulette icon) unlocks so he can replay all previously completed levels as much as he wants, with extra chances to practice the games he found most challenging. This way he still has meaningful, confidence-boosting practice time beyond the daily new-content limit.

Lifetime Subscription Special Needs

Would you please add the option for a one time payment for a lifetime subscription for special needs children who need a lifetime to learn to read on IOS or your website? Thank you!

Response from developer

Hey there, We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what would be helpful, especially for families supporting special-needs learners. Bugs that cannot be resolved

My poor 6 year old earned me buying this app for him by working very hard at his piano exam and days into it there are bugs which mean he cannot continue playing and learning on this app. Not happy and we want our money back!

Lots of bugs

The game is fun but we can’t get past the compulsory treehouse decoration ! There is no way to avoid it and once you are there you cannot get out of it and proceed with the game

Bummer

We love this game but it constantly freezes. We have contacted customer service multiple times. They fix the freeze in the next update but we are unable to consistently play and build skills because it takes weeks to fix issues.

Freezes so much

My daughter was only able to do the first lesson. And it has completely frozen. I even tried making a second login and it is still frozen. I’m glad I only had it the first week free and did not pay for this app. I feel like this would’ve been a great app if they could get it to work.

Great for phonics but glitchy

Great game with loads of learning potential but so glitchy.

Among app, but way too many bugs

Can’t move forward because the bugs don’t allow it. Even shutting down the app doesn’t make a difference so you’re just stuck in one place and you can’t go any more forward. Extremely frustrating.

Easy phonics for kids

By fair the best phonics learning app the my wife and I tried with my 3 and 5 years old. They love to play and I really like the in game time limitation, and how easy it’s to track progress.

Worst app

The app is not usable. I paid for 1 year subscription but it is still saying the features are subscription only. I have logged out and logged back in but still no feature is working. Money wasted..

Does not work

App won’t even open.

Kids love the game, but it keeps freezing

I have a 4 and 7 year old at home. Getting to play this game is the highlight of their day. They continuously ask to play. But now we are running into freezes, dead ends, and loops in the animation. I’m really hoping that new versions are coming soon.

Response from developer

App started freezing the second the 7day trial was over

I extremely disappointed because my son loved the app but it no longer works. I have reached out three times to customer service with no response. I do no recommend unless they fix this bug.

Enjoying the app so far with my 3 and 7 year olds, but I can’t seem to make the progress report feature work.

Great content but freezes a lot

My son loves the app. As a teacher, the content is great. The app freezes up alot. It’s a new app and I know the company is hard at work to improve the program.

I really wanted to like the app

I really wanted to like the app but I didn’t. The overall concept was nice but the lessons are too broad. On the start up page I selected that my child can read a few cvc words like cat, tap, and etc. My child went from playing a cvc flash card game, to a four letter sight word game within a matter of minutes. The lesson wasn’t age appropriate for a child that new to reading . The lesson included sight words like some, were, and etc. Sight words are important but for a child that’s just learning how to read , phonics should be front row and centered. And when introducing sight words they need to also be age appropriate. I was excepting to see beginner sight words like the words (The, are, my, and etc) .Overall the app has a lot of potential but improvements are needed to separate the reading levels. So for now I think it’s better suited for children who have more advanced reading skills than a child who’s just getting prepared for Kindergarten.

Looking forward to full version

What’s there is great, but sadly we run out of levels pretty fast. I would happily pay for a full version and hope it’s available before my kid outgrows it.
