Best reading app
I’ve taught two of my children to read using this app and fully intend to use it for our third. We’ve tried others but they are nowhere near as good as this app. It’s targeted and specific enough to really be focused on learning to read. It’s also fun and engaging. My kids loved it. It was never a fight to get them to do it and so effective. Coupled with reading beginner learning books this app is incredible. I highly recommend.

Average app but takes money without authority
The app is as expected and average. However there is no way to cancel anything and they keep taking money without authorisation. Emails will be answered very slow and can’t get a. Refund

Best reading app I’ve ever found
Fantastic App
I have taught all three of my kids to read using this app as a tool. My youngest just finished level 5 and will be moving on to levels 6-10 as a right of passage.
Best learn to read app out there
I’ve tried several different learn-to-read apps, and this is by far and away the best one in my opinion. It teaches children to read phonetically in a fun and engaging way. My four year old loves it and has learned a lot. I’m glad they came out with Volume 2 and hope they come out with several more volumes.

I’m just a kid but I love it
I’m having trouble with reading so my mom download it with this game it was really fun and I really like it if any teachers are reading this you should definitely download it for your kids it’s really fun :)
One of the best
I’ve used reading raven for multiple children and it’s one of the best reading apps. It’s progression is well thought out and kids have a good time getting to record their own voices reading. I’ve recommended this app to several other parents.

Thank you for your response. The product listing for the HD version, which is optimized for iPad and has more functionality at a slightly higher price point, under the Compatibility section states that it is only compatible with iPad. There are countless apps which have an HD version optimized for iPad. See, for example, this article by Gizmodo (https://gizmodo.com/5502218/apple-hd-apps-are-ipad-only) which says: "... HD versions of several popular App Store games have started popping up in iTunes. We just heard from a developer that it's Apple's preferred nomenclature for distinguishing iPad games that aren't iPhone or iPod compatible."
No option for multiple player profiles
My kids seem to enjoy this and the lessons seem helpful. However, very frustrating that there is no option to add more than 1 player profile so that my children can start from where they last stopped playing. Guide says you can add up to 5 player profiles on options page button is missing for this.

Thank you for your feedback. We have never advertised multi-player options on the app store listing for the iphone version. There was a mistake in previous versions where the guide inside the app said that it did support it which we have now fixed. Only the HD version for iPad support multiple users. Apologies for the confusion.
No multi-user very poor customer service
I bought this after reading a blog on best iPhone apps for kindergarteners. It says In the app guide itself also that there is a multiplayer option and it gives instructions it says nothing about only being for iPad but when I emailed support the person was not helpful and said I just need to "deal with Apple" I want a refund this is pathetic.

My girl loves this App
My girl of 5 years loves this app. She dont need my help to understand the app . She make every lesson by her own.
No multi-user functionality
So far, my son (3.5) loves using this app for reading and phonics practice. I bought this app with the understanding there was multi-user functionality to allow my 4.5 y/o daughter her own set-up too, but it's not part of this app like the write-up said. Support page doesn't help. Disappointed, but I'll keep it for my son.

A great progression through different stages of :: recognizing letters words pictures sounds all the ways through to a neat method for child to listen to phonics & repeat and playback via microphone
My four year old loved it and picked up & recalled new things in one session - I was actually amazed!

So worth it
This is one of the few educational apps that's actually educational. My kiddos love it too:)
Best kids app I've found
I've downloaded a couple dozen apps for my three kids and this one is the best by far. My 5-year old has graduated out of volume 1 and now my two 2-year olds are using it. They all enjoy it and ask for it. I've been really impressed by how well designed the app is, from an educational perspective. It's really helped all three kids build their reading skills, probably more than anything else we've done.

This app has engaged my five year old son in the foundations of reading. Five stars!
Needs only one more thing
This is a remarkable app. The only thing needed is the ability to make separate user accounts for families with more than one child. This way the sticker rewards can remain intact for each child.
Fun for kids and grown ups too
My son and his preschool class are just learning to read. My son was only marginally interested, but this "game" really engaged him and got his focus. Really well done!
