I was enjoying the app with my small brother until it asked to pay. Why don’t you guys make it clear that your apps are not made for helping kids learn how to read and that they’re made simply for your own profits.

Perfect for young reader
Love this app. I tried many reading apps for my child, and this is his favorite. The content is rich, and reading lets him build a city with reading buddies joining in. After finishing a book, there’s a quiz and word game too. Highly recommended!

A Bit Unwieldy
I am a senior citizen who has been reading Cricket Magazine for 30+ years as part of Audio Information Services (AIS). AIS has been providing a variety of services at no cost to patrons who are visually impaired or print disabled. In the September/October 2025 issue of Cricket (newly designed) I saw the suggestion to try Reading Stars. Well, I have just spent 20-25 minutes noodling around with the app on my Mac Book Air. I would like to use some of the selections for 7-9 year olds as part of my weekly readings but cannot print out the selections…no deal. I also found that navigating the app was a bit clunky. I will explore further and most likely share the information about the app with my relatives who have very young children ( who, I am sure, are more tech savvy than I will ever be!!

Good app for kids💕
I really like reading star! The design feels great the first time you open it. My child became very interested in the books and can keep reading along the path for a long time. I also love that I can see what they’ve read and talk about it together. We both enjoy it a lot — I’ve already recommended it to their teacher!

Hi. Just wanted to say that you guys Work is awesome! I do have one suggestion. Well actually two suggestions. One could you please make the parent mode more accessible for disabled users and 2 could you please add more games? It would be cool if there was More games than just a memory star game. Other than that absolutely amazing app!

Perfect for my 7 year old. It’s great to see him enjoying himself while reading and not making it feel like a chore. Tons of stories on all sorts of topics too.

Fun way to read!
My 6 and 8 year olds are both really enjoying. We’ve only just gotten started but compared to Epic and others, this has been really fun. The stories are charming too.

Great and Easy to Use Reading App for Kids
My daughter loves the simplicity and engagement of this app, compared to so many others. It’s straight forward, fun, allows for her to extend her reading skills, be read to, and also test her reading comprehension and play games that directly reflect the stories she is reading. It is a great app to just do for a few short stories a day, not an app made to keep them sucked in all day! And that’s a plus!
