As for the lock screen widget, since this is a timer app, the time needs to be updated in real-time, which presents significant technical challenges due to OS restrictions and potential battery consumption issues; therefore, we need to conduct a thorough technical review before proceeding. An account/login feature would require server infrastructure and ongoing operating costs, so I’ll need to secure a sustainable revenue model first to support it without running at a loss. Thanks for your report. This was fixed in v1.0.3—time spent while the timer was paused will no longer be counted in your final reading stats. Please update to the latest version. If anything still looks off, let us know. Sorry for the trouble!
