New app ? Whee have all my downloads gone to??
I opened my account the othe day yo find that I now have a new app - but all my downloaded magazines have mysteriously

New App loses functionality
This used to be a fantastic app, but the recent update leaves a lot to be desired. Bring back being able to view one page at a time in landscape mode, instead of locking it to 2 pages at once.
New app won’t let me sign in
Switched to the new app. Entered correct log in details, but the continue button remains greyed out. Same for the retrieve password button (which I thought I’d try as a potential workaround). Wish I’d stayed with the old app for now!

Update: NOW CANCELLED!!
I’ve been trying to use the new app now for a reasonable time & it’s really driving me mad! So difficult to navigate, I never know where I am or what I was reading previously as too much irrelevant info on the page. Sadly, I think I’ll have to cancel as it it’s not fit for purpose & not good value to me…

Spoiled a great app
I don’t really see anything good about the new version. It’s just not as good as the previous one. The presentation of the favourite magazines and the recently read section was better than what we have now. Also having to click on the profile and enter a 4 digit pin almost every time I open the app is tedious. Why change something that was working very well?

Awful update
An absolute nightmare trying to login since update. Subscription cancelled!
Cancelling
It is a shame as I loved the old app but I am now forced to cancel this subscription. I cannot access the new app at all it is infuriating. I am wasting months of subscription even after contacting them a few times. I am so very cross. I cannot get past a parental code page which I never had before, I don’t know if the new app is any good or not as I still haven’t been on it. I will find another app which might not be as good as Readly but hopefully won’t be as stressful and such a waste of money.

Disappointed with Changes
This was a really good app and the overarching concept is still great.
However, the changes to the app make navigation difficult and unintuitive - it’s harder to find the content you’re looking for, or browse for new things to read.
It’s not the user friendly platform it used to be, and I really hope the updates are either reversed, or significantly improved.
The updated subscription types mean that maintaining access at the same level as before will be more expensive, but on an app which isn’t as good as before.
Unfortunately, bookmarked content was not carried over with the upgrade, which is also disappointing.
I really hope the changes are reconsidered and improvements implemented.

Not great
The new ownership model has affected my use.
I no longer have auto downloads and it appears more complicated to use. I have been a longstanding member with Readly, but no sure for how much longer!

Readly
I can’t find anything with the new app - as if the catalogue comprises only a few dozen titles - I can’t explore, searching for “car” or “auto” yields no results. What gives? Fix this nonsense.
Bad new update
I primarily use this app offline, the support for using it offline is sub to what it was on the prior version. Read progress / read magazines no longer log progress offline. Hope this is fixed so I can improve my rating as it supports the magazines I enjoy.

This used to be a fantastic site, the new “revised” layout is awful, difficult to navigate and so slow.
Puzzle Books Now Pointless
Whilst I still enjoy the ease of having my magazines in one place, I'm very disappointed the puzzle books are now totally pointless because you can't actually enter any answers. It's daft having them on the app because they are now defunct.

Good for magazines and newspapers a little bit slower than previous version and not as easy to navigate since the upgraded app but still one of the best

I just came back after months away. Loses a star as navigation is poorly redesigned.
Best range but poor app
Nothing about the new version is an improvement on the old version. Clunky and less user friendly than it was. Still has the broadest range of magazines in n the UK at least.
Disappointed with the app update
I have used Readly for a while and love the access to so many magazines. I however cannot understand the recent app update. It is really clunky and navigation is unnecessarily complicated. The new app is also not available for Kindle Fire.
