What's New in Readory

1.0.5

August 29, 2026

More than 114 million books. That's where Readory looks now. Search, barcode scanning and covers were rewritten from the ground up — rare editions, local publishers and translations are all within reach. Your reading history tells the truth, too: give the books you brought over the dates you actually read them, mark the page you stopped on, and arrange your library however you like. It stays that way. Clubs are a home now: a welcome note from the founder, a conversation with no fear of spoilers, and a shelf where the books you finish together collect. You choose the next book together as well — the founder nominates, members vote in private. And in the quiet reading room, you can see how long you've been reading side by side. And Readory is on your Home Screen. Line up your three favorite books on a real wooden shelf, then add what you're reading and your yearly goal beside it. Tap the reading timer on your Lock Screen and you're back in the session you left unfinished. A bigger library, more honest numbers, and reading together at its best.

Ich bin gespannt, was du sagst. Volkan

got locked behind a paywall

i liked the app at first it was clean and simple to use. it has a timer and by the end of your reading session it shows you a percentage of how far into the book you are. but today i tried to start a new session and it asked me to subscribe. i dont think the app is worth it if i have to pay a weekly subscription especially cuz there really arent that many features

Thank you for this — the criticism is fair and I'd rather hear it than not. One thing worth clarifying: your library, reading progress, notes and highlights are free forever, and the free plan includes one reading session per day. The subscription is only for starting more than one session in the same day. So nothing you've already tracked is going anywhere. Happy reading.

Great new app and a wonderful developer!

I reached out to support when I found a bug in importing, and the response was great! Not only did Volkan immediately start working on fixes, but he also gave me the opportunity to help test out those solutions, which was just neat for a non-techy person to be apart of. It was so cool to watch the app get better with every new fix, and I’m so stoked to see where it goes in the future!

Thank you, Mae — and thank you for the bug report that started all this. You found something in the importer that had quietly been affecting other people too, and your screenshots pinned down two more issues I'd never have caught on my own. Fixes for all of them are on the way. Readory is a one-person project, so every email really does land with me. If anyone reading this hits a problem, please write in — I'd much rather hear about it than not. Happy reading!

Page numbers

Cute and simple app design however I can’t stand that you cannot edit what page number you are one without starting a timer and since I’m not paying for the app I can only do the timer once a day but if I leave the app not close out of it the timer shuts off and now I can’t edit my page number very frustrating way of keeping track of what you’re reading I like the notes you can leave with the page numbers but if I write a note for page 486 the actual page counter still says I’m on 273.

A nice simple tracker app 😊

I have to say that I really enjoy this app, it’s nice for tracking in a simple way without a huge dashboard/community aspect like you get on other big apps such as Goodreads - I also love how it’s super simple to add a title if it doesn’t exist within the apps catalogue & to also change the book cover to be the version you read/prefer ☺️ The app also looks super clean and sleek and is really easy to get your head around 💕
