Didn’t realize how unprepared I was
I honestly thought I was pretty ready. Then I started going through this and realized how many basic things I didn’t actually know. What normal newborn breathing looks like. What’s not normal. What postpartum red flags are. What to actually do at 2AM when everyone’s exhausted.
It’s calm and straightforward and doesn’t make you feel dumb. I feel a lot more prepared now and it’s nice not having to bounce between random blogs and YouTube videos trying to piece it all together. If you’re a first-time dad, this is worth it.

Actually Useful
Most “dad” content I’ve come across is either cheesy bro advice or long articles I’m never going to finish. This isn’t that. It gets straight to the point and focuses on what actually matters.
It’s quick to read, easy to digest and somehow doesn’t feel overwhelming. I’ve already sent it to a couple friends who are expecting their first kid.

A friend just recommended this to me and I’m really glad he did. As a first-time dad I’ve had way more stress and “am I doing this right?” moments than I expected, and this has honestly been super helpful.
