Beware phishing add!
Today the add window popped up with phishing exclaiming I had visited adult websites click to go to App Store. I have never visited an adult website. It’s sad cause I really enjoyed this game. It was challenging and made me think. If I knew how to report this, I would.
Scareware ads
The game itself is good, but has recently started running scareware ads.
Contains advertisements for spam and malware.
While the game is OK, at the completion of a board it forces you to view an unsolicited ad for 60 seconds or so. This is bad enough, but in the ad rotation are blatant “Your phone is corrupted, download this app now to initiate a cleanup” scareware apps. Of course, the ads can be ignored (for 60 seconds) but it’s a clear attempt to install malware. The trust is broken.

Beware!
I love this game, but when a game serves you a deceptive ad, you have to question your choice. I received an add that “warns” me that I have become infected by an adult website that I visited (I didn’t), and I should install the app they are going to send me to. No info about the app, just the warning. This is deceptive and underhanded, and no legitimate app should be supporting this kind of advertising, or the app being pushed.

Making math fun
Okay, maybe not fun but challenging. Some I get so stuck I wish there was a way to find the answers. Also I wish there was an undo button. But it’s still a good game.

This is a great app. Well written and definitely fun to play. That said, it is not appropriate for younger players, as about 30% of the ads are for pornographic AI girls. I don’t expect that in a game app!

I‘ve had this app for quite a few years now - and still find it entertaining.
Almost Perfect
One enhancement would be if I could save the puzzle at a certain point and then return to that point once it’s obvious I’ve made a mistake. Just one level of saves. (I’m now using my phone to take a pictures, which is tedious.)

This is the best Kakuro app on iTunes and it has been for a really long time now. Other apps are a mix of crossums, Ken-Ken, and Sudoku, but this one is all Kakuro. U get all of the puzzles too, not just a couple, all of em, for free.
I constantly delete and re-download it to complete all puzzles over again. If I’m not on my phone playing this, I’m hitting up Krazy Dad online for free printables

It appears that you may have done a recent downgrade that screwed things up. Even though it says it’s been around for a couple of years, something definitely changed.
Favorite game
Would like a second colour pen, so you can explore options in the extreme version and you can retrace your steps. But love the game, sooooooo much better than Sudoku!
