Doesn’t calculate additional principal
No way to calculator for additional principal payments to shorten the term.
What a Find
Was tired of going on the Net looking for help in gaging my ability to bid on properties whether they be personal main home, second or vacation home without having to essentially release personal information in the form of a “mini” application, then to be contacted by the shadow lender (I imagine, as I never “got that far” before exiting the web site) before being able to use their calculator to satisfy my inquiry. Now, problem solved with the use of your wonderful app. Since I am a professional tax preparer and financial planner, I will be able to utilize the power of your app on a daily basis.

Very easy to use and understand, yet giving you all the information you need to understand a new mortgage.
5 year fixed...
Only a few loan terms pre-determined allowed. 5year fixed no balloon isn’t there. This lack of flexibility limits usefulness.
much better than Zillow Mortgage
Allows you to save different mortgage payment scenarios and overall much more integrated/user friendly than Zillow Mortgage. Very stable so far and great feature set - keep up the great work!

Finally!
I've just started looking at houses and have been using multiple mortgage apps to try to figure my monthly payments. All those other apps have ads or are just interested in selling me something.
This app is just bare bones a mortgage calculator without any strings attached. EXACTLY what I've been looking for. THANK YOU!!

Garbage output
Reviews had me hopeful. But my very first attempt to use this app, I entered 120000 for purchase price, entered the down payment and interest rate, and chose 30 year mortgage.
App shows monthly payment of $100 per month.
Uh... If only. Of course, at that rate, the loan would get paid off in 1000 months (if not for interest). Hmmm... I think something is wrong.
It also showed 3,4000,000 as the total

Hello and thank you for the feedback! We took your comments into consideration and have hopefully made the workflow better in update 1.1.0. Now you can choose between a % or $ amount when entering the down payment. As you enter one value, the other automatically updates. In addition, we have added a brand new FAQ section along with more help tooltips. Hope this helps and you give us another shot!
