A feed where everything is real. Real Reel is a photo and video app with no filters, no retouching, and no AI. Every post carries C2PA Content Credentials — cryptographic proof of which camera captured it and that the file hasn't been altered since. An edited file can't be passed off as an original, because the signature breaks. You don't have to take anyone's word for what you're looking at. HOW IT WORKS Real Reel accepts photos and videos from trusted cameras that support C2PA Content Credentials, the open industry standard for content provenance. Most phones don't support C2PA yet, so Real Reel includes its own camera. When you capture in the app, each photo or video is signed right on your device using secure hardware — the same kind that protects your fingerprint and payments — so you can share authentic content no matter which phone you carry. As more cameras adopt the standard, you'll be able to post straight from the camera you already use. Either way, the signature is written into the file itself as a Content Credential, so the origin of every photo and video can be checked and can't be quietly tampered with. WHAT THIS PROVES Content Credentials prove where a file came from and that it hasn't changed since capture. They can't tell you what was in front of the lens — no provenance system can. Real Reel gives you the strongest available record of a file's origin, not a guarantee about the world. Our signing certificates chain to a root certificate authority on the C2PA trust list, so C2PA-aware tools anywhere recognize a Real Reel credential as coming from a verified issuer, not a self-signed one. Our mobile apps have been submitted to the C2PA trusted products list and are awaiting confirmation.
