Great game - not enough to do

Nice game, I played this for my entire plane trip I had and on airplane mode there was no ads so I played for hours, but I ended up finishing the base far to quickly and it started to get a tiny bit repetitive but the game is very clean and polished I’m sure if you keep updating this it could do great :D

funny

it's just what they intend to present as a game, really nice work by the dev

Has Potential

Progression does not feel good. Even with upgraded gear it takes forever to destroy gems and portals.

For the longest time I thought each storm makes the forest level increase and it took way to long for me to realize that it was actually destroying portals that does that. I destroyed portals left and right because I thought I needed to progress at a faster pace then the difficulty level increased. Stuff like this I feel can be presented in a more clear way from the get-go.

No automation. I'm hoping future updates will bring this in but as of right now, you have to do literally everything yourself.

Back to progression, increasing axe swinging and running speed feels like it does nothing if you only upgrade one level at a a time. It wasn't until I tried saving up and upgrading five levels at once I noticed a difference. Feels like this could be tweaked better.

I got a game breaking glitch where ads no longer give awards. They play and then the button to receive rewards does nothing, I can hear the game resuming but the add is still frozen on screen and then I have to restart the game, which also does not give the reward. This means when I restarted my save to play the game again with my new-found knowledge, I'm locked out of a key mechanic which is occasionally having the wheel-of-axes. Until this is fixed the pace of the game is completely broken and does not feel fun to play.

Ok the subject of ads, there's still way too many of them. Most options to open chests faster or get the wheel-of-axes require watching two separate 30 second ads filled with ai schlop.

Speaking of ai schlop, I saw the dev's video on how much the previous game made. Good, you made money now. I really hope the ai schlop I see for video thumbnails and assets for videos and ads for the games cease. You made enough money to make a functional business and should have the capitol to hire actual artists for that stuff now, please do.

Ok, I've dealt my complaints, here are my praises:

I like the exchange for money to gems and visa verse, please don't change that.

Progression for the axe feels decent.

I like that I can have infinite cooked food.

Progression for the turrets is decent, I just wish I could increase their range a tad more. They have some annoying blind spots otherwise.

Once I started playing the game correctly (and when ad rewards worked) the game overall was quite a fun time-waster. Hopefully future updates will bring more than 5 levels of base progression.

Finally one more suggestion: instead of increasing the bear's health and damage so much as forest levels progress, please consider spawning more bears. Getting overwhelmed by many weak enemies feels more fair when it's 3 beasts that each take 7 hits to go down and can kill you with just 2 swings.
