I wish it had the ability to master tune it so it is not fixed on 440 I would live to aet this to 444 and 432
My Tanpura Real is crashing within 2 months
I purchased the Tanpura real app about 2 months ago for rs 399/
All of a sudden, it does not start, and on clicking on it, flashes on the screen & disappears.
It would be good to know if others using it have had a similar experience & how to rectify it.

Pitch D is not in tune
The Sarini and Anusarini at pitch D is out of tune, making it impossible to sing along. The makers should have made a free trial version available so that we can check the quality of the Tanpura before doling out 5 dollars. Now, I am unable to use this app because of the imperfect tuning and worse, I can’t seem to get a refund.
I hope the app developers reply to the feedback email I sent a few days ago. I would appreciate a refund ASAP. Thank you.

Class Supporting software
My son is enjoying this software which is providing amazing support and option for his flute practice.
Decent, but needs some work
Great overall sound, more interesting than iTabla, as upper harmonics are actually present.
My top concern is that there is a noticeable cut-off sound, presumably at the point where the audio loops. Unfortunately this makes it too distracting for practice, let alone to use in performance.
I hope this is fixed in the future, because the sound quality is encouraging. Also would be nice to have a slider for speed, rather than three settings.
I will certainly keep this app and look forward to see what updates may come. Thank you.

A must-have App for all Carnatic musicians
Our family has been a regular user of this app since its first release. We have it installed on our phones and tablets, and use it for routine home practice sessions or on the go during long drives, etc. Its ease of use is remarkable, and has a great sound quality. My wife, Aparna Sunder, is a Carnatic music guru in Chicago. She has recommended this App to many of her students as she is extremely satisfied with it. It is very reasonably priced, and is definitely a worthy app to have.

Crazy Quality Recordings
The recordings are of an actual tanpura, a difference you can tell when you use it.
There's a problem
After listening for a while I noticed the overtones are not tuned correctly. This can be fixed. Needs to be recorded again with someone who knows how to fine tune and listen for the overtones. I too can not use this app as it is.
Not exactly what I was looking for
I am sure many will enjoy this app but I am looking for more flexibility.
Finding the sound quality to have deteriorated in v2.0
Have been a happy user for many years. But the sound quality seems to have taken a hit in the latest version. Sounds very tinny and electronic. No longer has the wide soundstage.

Great one for musicians
It has wonderful Nadham-(sound ) than the other couple ones that I have Tried.So easy and comfortable to use and I love it.Also recommended it for so many music lovers and learners .Thanks for the upgraded versions .Hathi software rocks 👍😀

Sound is fine, but not updated to latest iOS. Minimal features. I want a refund!
totally a waste of money!
I deleted this app immediately as it has a constant prominent beat of either 5 or 6, very few adjustments and I drum and chant to it.. sounded very electric... awful to listen to!

Good samples
I could tell this app was good when it took longer to download than others. That means it has longer samples.
Was looking for a drone app.
The fault is on me, but I was looking for a simple drone app that just sustains one note. I should have done a little more research before I purchased. If you update with a function to sustain one note, I'll rate five stars!
Simple App - too basic
While it fulfils the basic e-tanpura requirements, it misses some features that you may eventually need. Can't play in background either. Otherwise it's a usable app.
Poor quality
Someone else also brought this up and I took a chance anyway. I was sorely disappointed. There is an alien note, quite distinct and distracting not to mention very off- key. And yes not being able to run in the background means more power hungry. I'll have to write this one off until the developers get their act together and push a worthy update. Till then it's the digital equivalent of paperweight.

Last string note needs fix big time !
The frequency of the last string played, needs to be fixed. Its really off the note.
It cannot play in the backround, but, if the notes are not proper, it misguides the musicians.
